THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

y'all need to stop being all grammatically correct and shit. I started reading a book for the first time in years last night (well other than school books, computer books/mags, car/motorcycle/jeep stuff, etc). I felt all edumacated since I was reading again... now you are correcting every other post and 50% of the corrections are errors that I didn't pick up on. Cut the shit. :laugh3:

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I LOVE dealing with used car dealerships. :twak:

Apparently '98 and down never had keyless entry and every '99 and up had ABS. Funny as I have a '97 with keyless entry and a '99 without ABS sitting in my driveway.
My 98 has (had?) no ABS and factory keyless entry too. They're not always as smart as they think.

Ok, no store.
Good point.

I got myself a new project, it's nice to have a change of pace.
I feel special, he sends me a text message via cellular device.
Ya, I know I love dealing with people like that who talk like they actually know what they are talking about. I was on the phone with my dad when he was at the used car dealership buying his current cheokree, and he was telling me about this noise. When I suggested a cracked header, the salesman was like no way, that never happens on these things, its not a common problem. I laughed and was like "Yes, that is why all 3 of my cherokees have had the headers replaced, and why almost everyone I know with a cherokee has had to replace them. And that is just the people I know personally..."

Yes, I've received a text from him from time to time in this type of situation.

One word.

Spotlight.

:D
lol
Mark doesn't know how to put hubs together so they break.

Oh, Anthony is not happy Mark had a solid point right there, so he went back to this statement that doesn't make sense. :)

Why would you want to do that anyway?

I'd prefer to put them together so they don't break...
The thing is, I never took the Warn hubs apart. All I do with them is put them in the hub when I bought them, then take them out when I need to pull the hub off. No physical alteration or work on the hub body itself.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

The idea of proper grammar is a pile of shit. If it gets the point across clearly who gives a shit. It's like the difference between .1 and 1/10.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Correct use of the "I don't care tense." :D

No, I went back and rewrote some of that sentence, so I must have forgot to change the do to did.

There is no difference in .1 and 1/10 except that with 0.1 you don't know if the value was truncated and any sig figs were lost.

For grammatical errors they're actually is a difference though only English majors and people who have way too much free time care.

You've gotta be shitting me right...

It's like the difference between .1 and 1/10.

The only difference there is the way they're expressed; both ways express an equivalent quantity.

Even the simplest mistakes in grammar or spelling can lead to ambiguity. There is a substantial difference in meaning between "I helped my uncle Jack off a horse" and "I helped my uncle jack off a horse".

No, I went back and rewrote some of that sentence, so I must have forgot to change the do to did.

This briefly caught my eye, but it's acceptable. Carry on.

Your definition of substantial is equal to my definition of stupid.

What if you helped your uncle Jack jack off a horse?
I will carry on, thank you.
