THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: The NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

DON'T cut up those wide track flares (is what people always say on ifsja). but, your Jeep, do what you want. :D I will admit, I left my J20 out front at the store figuring you were coming by...I guess I'll bring it in out back and do the work I've been putting off after all.

Everyone on ifsja is gay. No lift, no flares, on 35s looks awesome.

Re: The NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I had this guy fly into my garage tonight. It appears to be a Cecropia Moth, which is North America's largest silkmoth.

Re: The NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

2 times in 2 weeks that as soon as I got into work and sat down in my office the skies opened up. Has stopped raining since then. Wish it kept going, on the top floor where my office is the sound of rain/thunder passes through the roof easily and sounds pretty sweet.

The problem with knowing a little bit about Linux is that it's easy to break stuff.

Re: The NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

its also very easy to make backups! do that. lol
That was my first thought upon accepting the fact that my Matlab scripts and FEA runs are now gone forever. It was an instant facepalm. I shoulda backed it up somewhere. :badpc: At least that project is done and over. I could take a couple days and rewrite the scripts if I end up needing them again.

Matlab...the guts of my senior project (that autonomous vehicle thing I've mentioned before) was designed as a state machine in Matlab. The inputs from all the sensors and image recognition were distilled down into a series of conditions that dictated what state the vehicle should be in - straight ahead, 3 magnitudes of steering left or right, or reverse. Each state had a designated output and my "official" part of the project was to take that output and have the car execute it mechanically.

Of course I ended up spending much more time on the Matlab side of things than I wanted to, but when you have deadlines and a team of mostly incompetent people, that's what happens.

So yeah, I have a great dislike for Matlab, and your post just brought back many memories I would have preferred to leave back in 2005.

Too bad you feel that way about Matlab. I love it and have been using it since I was a freshman.

We had a similar project but it wasn't quite as involved. It used a form of C and had fewer inputs and outputs. Same thing though, I ended up doing the whole thing.

Re: The NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

the dumb thing about my life is that i didnt want to get into computers bc i'm not a huge programming fan.. i like implementing program outputs mechanically (like what you were supposed to do chris) but alas, i am currently working in IT... sigh.
