I keep meaning to sign up for a C and/or C++ course to refresh myself. Never really got a good handle on C++ and my C course was a freshman level course so it wasn't as in depth as I would have liked.

Personally I loved VHDL and assembly level stuff. Would love to be working in hardware or something but I am stuck doing applications engineering with no technical work at all. I feel like I am forgetting everything I learned.

I think you're right.

Why? It's so useful. I love writing algorithms. All of the overhead and interface crap that goes into making it work bores me but it's a necessary evil.

so the easiet way for someone to tell me what version of IE they have (we only use 6 or 7 here...) is to ask them what color their back button is, if its green its 6, blue, 7.

i just had a guy on the phone who didnt have the slighest idea what a back button was.

WTF

My mother probably has no clue what the back button is. She barely understands that you can open multiple browser windows nevermind opening multiple tabs.

Though at home I never use the back button. I got that shit on an unused mouse button.

Damnit. Messed up my lunch. Went to get a salad and saw they had general tso's chicken, decided to get that. Last minute decided to switch to the beef rather than chicken... should have got chicken...

And I have a nice bottle of scotch sitting right next to me. I really wish I could pour myself a glass right now :laugh3:

DO IT. 65" is nothing, run a 17" wheel with like 5.25" BS and you'll be barely than the stock expolorder width running 3" BS.

ok maybe a bit more than barely but you get my idea..

and my 9100s are paid for and on their way..

looks like its gonna rain all weekend too, YES. i'm bringing my semi-open face helment with face sheild, XXXX this goggles nonsense again. i might rip some headlight wipers off a volvo and install them on it.

so work just got exciting.

some dude just drove in with a pretty messed up jetta

front end damage. 2 bent rims and a XXXXED up tire (just a piece of rubber floppin around)

guy looks cocked.

cop comes.

guy has a record of all sorts of drugs. and is on all sorts of meds.

he tells us the accident happened 4 weeks ago.

then tells the cop the accident happened 4 hours ago.

this is getting exciting

he was all shady grabbin stuff out from under his seats and dash before the cop came. and he is dressed in half a suit and half jogging pants.

just left in the back of a cop car. the jetta is still here
