Ummmm, if he makes a good offer you sell it to him? I always thought that's how sales typically worked :dunno:

it just seems so weird lol.

He asked if i was flexible on the price, i said "no" and he was fine with it. lol.

im guessing he has never been on a ktm with the lc4 motor. 3 hour trips are hard on your balls. this guy wants to ride it to canada lol.

and I have to swap the street tires and sprocket over for him for this.

kinda seems like a pain in the ass when i can just sell it to somebody local.

It's weird... you are getting offers from all over... I had one local guy make an offer on my altima but other than that it has been at least 3 hours away (Maine, VT, etc).

You got me beat by a long way but still.. didn't think that I would be getting long distance offers on a fawking altima.

he is currently in toronto canada. and wants to take a bus to new york city, then to rhode island, and buy my bike and ride it back to toronto.

this guy is XXXXing nuts.

Yeah... now it's starting to sound a bit weird but at the same time idk if there is much else he could do... if he takes a bus to the area then a cab to the hotel he may not have much of an option other than having you meet him there to do the sale.

And I just learned that there is another chinese restaurant near my house that I have never been to. I know what I am eating at some point this weekend.

A couple that I know go on group rides with some people from there, down in the pine barrens. She rides a KTM 990; he rides a BMW R1200GS. Last I saw them she showed me a bunch of pictures of them doing water crossings and hauling ass down trails. Pretty badass. He wants to get a sidecar made so they can take the dog along too (ever follow that beemerchef guy?). :laugh:

Pretty cool stuff, I'd probably enjoy it, but I don't have the time or money right now.

i told him someones coming to look at it tonight with cash. he got all pissed and hung up on me.

then like 20 minutes later i got 5 texts saying how he used to race ktm adventures in new zealand and already paid for the bus to get to rhode island and was going to ride it to los angeles and ship it back to new zealand to race it.

He also said his buddy is going to pick up an adventure 640 in virginia and they want to ride together to los angeles.

And apparently after months of searching these are the only 2 adventure 640's they have seen

done nothin today, decided ill use a screw driver for the rear main, honestley dont care, also went to bolt up the brown dog brackets and the drivers side is warped or somthin kinda sums up my day, gave am a call and one will be my way when i send this one back, real cool peaple to talk to and deal with
