THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I have done, quite literally, nothing today.

And you still interested in the XT or did the pictures turn you off

honestly totally forgot, i've just been so damn busy. If you want, I can just buy the XT off you now, and whenever the dumb registration BS is taken care of I can sell you the CX. That way, worst case, if the CX shit doesn't work out for some messed up reason, you at least sold the XT and I didn't make you wait a zillion years to say hey that trade isn't gonna work out. Just another option I guess is all. PM if you'd like :)

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Local hardware store 3/4" diameter brass rod = new punch

so i can spens a bazillion hrs filing it down to get the rear main out, f that, i find some thinner shit not even sure if i make it to the rear main today still extremley tired from the past work week

How thin does it need to be? Brass punches are usually fairly thick because it peens over so easy. I wouldn't hesitate to use a 3/4" brass drift.

I've had to re-round my 5/8 dia HF drift a few times.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I just ordered 25 XJ trackbar bushings, 4 feet of 2" x .25 DOM, 4 feet of 5/8" 304 stainless rod, and approved a $650 CNC laser job. For work.

My boss no longer wants to know how I do things, as long as the job gets done.

The funny part is in theory, I could hire myself to do the welding job on this stuff. I might end up doing it if I can't find anyone local; honestly I've never looked.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I used a screw driver and the world didn't end...?

Honestly after I did mine I couldn't figure out why I didn't use whatever was laying around. I didn't come close to scratching anything.

This bike has been driven exclusively in the United States of America. There has been no mileage in kilometers driven on this bike. Rock on - Sam whatevermylastnameis

Ummmm, if he makes a good offer you sell it to him? I always thought that's how sales typically worked :dunno:
