XXXXing love manchester orchestra this cd is a 12 out of 10

I haven't heard many of the other songs, but the 'Virgin' one linked above is pretty decent. The 'Simple Math' song and most of their other album is almost a little to melodramatic for my tastes. I need a breakdown or something in there to keep me going. :laugh: I would like to hear the rest of the CD though. I don't listen to much music so when I do I want it to be "going" if that makes any sense.

Something more along the lines of (really almost any song of these bands):
Metallica - Master Of Puppets
All That Remains - The Last Time
Guns N' Roses - Knocking On Heaven's Door
Collective Soul - Shine
Killswitch Engage- Take Me Away

RCman, we have similar taste in music. I use music to "amp" me up when working on things, so I know what you mean when you say "going".

Like I said, they are good and play well, but I could only listen to a couple songs before I'd be forced to switch to something else.

I agree with Adam, and I was even saying this tonight with friends, G N' R is no longer on my "like" list of music. Axle's voice is way too whiny, and its just annoying. There is a time and place for all music, especially music to get the blood flowing, but I've been liking more and more "melodromatic" music lately.
