how are you calculating mpg's

Miles/gallons used? It's 108 miles from my house in CT to my apartment in sunderland, and I use a quarter tank (5 gals) I have the stock speedo gear and I run at about 2k rpms at 70 mph :dunno:

I've left with a half tank, 3/4 tank all different spots before, never more than a quarter tank every time. I was skeptical at first, but I'm now convinced.
