THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Corporate just sent us a list of torque wrenches we initially thought we had to choose from. Turns out we are getting 5 different model numbers to use totalling just over $2500. It is all coming from msc.com.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Does anyone use torque wrenches with digital displays regularly?

By the time I leave work tonight (10:30pm) I have to decide on which torque wrenches the company will be ordering.

I set tooling at a suspension component manufacturer. Mostly face/straddle mills, reamers, drills and taps. The drills, reamers and taps use 4mm-15mm collets and require a special spanner wrench to tighten down/break loose.

-Trying to give your background info to consider.

Thanks!
A bit late, but I have a snap on digital. I prefer a click type over it, but its one useful feature is it does angle torque.

yup. and 95 sucked on the way home, I had to get off and go around twice where they were doing road construction. assholes  I didn't get home til like quarter of 1. Totally hit snooze a bunch of times this morning

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I can't afford one of those.

My 25-250 ft-lb one is a Craftsman Digitork (which despite the name had nothing digital). Not the best, but really all I could afford at the time I bought it (and now). If I used it more I'd love to get a better higher end brand/version, maybe when I wear this one out. All my other ones 0-50 in-lb and 0-100 ft-lb, plus one other are the beam style.
Also late to the party, but I have this one too. I've used the Snap On one and it was a lot nicer but I can't justify it for how rarely I need it.

I installed my chin fairing last night. Rear seat delete arrives today.
