i have to take my whole driver side of my motor apart in my overheating i popped the freeze plug thats been leaking for almost 2 years thats blocked by the exhaust manifold so off in the morning to order lots of gaskets WTF

lots of gaskets?

maybe just one for the manifolds

hell ive even reused those without issue lol

like sam said its just the exhaust/intake gasketyou can leave the fuel rail/intake attached

i have to do injector orings too I smoked one of them when it over heated smoke/steam comes out around the injector gotta get 3 more freeze plugs im gonna do them all when I have it apart the list I got goin now is:

intake/exhaust gasket
orings
valve cover gasket(it leaks)
coolant temp sensor on the block(while im in there)
serp belt(gotta take off the belt to move the p/s brkt)

and that seems to be my list

on another note the toyota thats been pissing me off is fixed

I have no idea what is leaking on my Jeep. There's oil dripping down the lower hose on the water pump. Thinking/hoping it's the VC, any ideas of where else I should look?

This was a bit sketchy.

Just went to the car wash, washed my car, etc. I pulled out of the car wash bay to one of the vacuums in the parking lot to throw some trash away. A town cop pulls into the car wash lot just as I was getting into my car (I assumed just doing rounds). As I was leaving I see that the cop had parked at a different vacuum/trash bin, got out, threw one handful of something into the trash, and got back into the car and left right behind me.

valve cover makes sense to me my thermostat housing was covered in oil it my also be a power steering hose

I have been collecting change in my desk drawer for probably 1.5 years now. I throw my change in there every day when I get home, whatever I have from lunch or the bar or wherever. I can officially say I have a little over 1/2 gallon of change.

I bought a growler of beer this wkend. I told myself after drinking I would clean it out and put my change in there and, once the growler was filled, I would spend it on Jeep parts... I just cleaned out my desk drawer and put the change in said growler and filled the thing.. I'm pretty sure most of it is quarters :wierd: Last time I counted the change (last summer/fall) it was somewhere in the $200-$250 range and I easily doubled what I had last time.

I wasn't expecting to reach my goal so soon... I think I may have to start a 2nd growler and once THAT one is full I will use both of them together to A) buy Jeep parts or B) put it toward a car/motorcycle.

Oh and I quit smoking cigs... figure I'll tell y'all so more people will know I quit which will increase the likelihood that I will stick with my decision (I will feel like an ass for going back on my word and may have more people giving me shit if I relapse so it may help with motivation )

Im pissed I didnt get much stuff done this weekend, knuckles took way too long to finish and I didnt get the 231 all the way out. I spent too much time focusing on the GF and not the jeep :nono: I also have to meet her mom and family next weekend and wont be able to get any work done at all since I'll be in Maine until Sunday night. Hopefully its a slow week so I can get the 60 under the jeep finally, pending steering arms showing up Mon/Tues.

Oh yeah, so I hit the fun limiter twice on my bike in consecutive gears today. It just kept pulling so I kept on it :dunno: I bet the engine would be happy well above 12k.

Hit 3 months w/o a cig as of April 3rd. I wasn't going to claim that I actually "quit" until I hit at least 3 months.. now that I am past that point I will tell people I quit rather than saying "trying to quit" or just not bringing it up. :thumbup:

I hit the fun limiter on my bike a couple times last summer. I'm surprised that it has one of those... either that or it doesn't have one of those and I revved it too high and the engine just got very unhappy with me :gee:

just got done cleaning up, tomorow right after work gonna turn the jeep around the rip off the pass doors and cut away some sheetmetal, my goal is to have the rocker welded into place but that depends on how much rust is found
