You ass!! Id walk out to the jeep to try to start working on stuff, and people kept showing up for stuff or we kept having to go places. It sucked!!! I had to service the front end on an E350 van (and stare/study the D60 rear) and weld repairs on a guys leaf blower cart.

i got nothing done this weekend... painted my JCR guards thats it.. i'm still waiting on a pair of LEDs. and the box tube for sliders i was supposed to get i didnt. so i tried to fix the 70, put on a new stator, it wasnt the right one, so i ended up removing the crankshaft from it with a sledgehammer. i felt a lot better after that.

Damnit, now I'm torn... I was thinking about buying a tube bender and/or bender kit (e.g. a gottrikes) with the change I saved but I may have to spend it on a DSLR. I really kinda want a nice camera.

That's why I never plan on getting shit done... that way when I do get shit done its amazing :D

But speaking of which on top of quitting cigs I have also cut back on drinking and I'll be damned the the combination of the two hasn't improved motivation 100x over. Hopefully will start hitting the gym this week for the trifecta which should finally start me on the road of getting shit done.. Hell I already had trouble sleeping in past 6:30 this morning which, for me, is unheard of :laugh:

I made my jeep crank over by jumping the starter.. for some reason it wont turn over off the key its got no spark or fuel pressure either so im guessing its something in the dash wiring...

My friend and I were on 84 heading back up here to MA last weekend and saw a guy blow up his ducati. We were doing about 75 in my jeep when this guy blew past us doing 90+ I'd guess. He must've downshifted one to many gears and it just dumped blue/white smoke and smelled like death. We were expecting to see him pull over but he just kept ripping down the highway.

I put stiffeners on my jeep this weekend. The passenger side looks waaay better :gee:

Im happy though, and my arms are full of little burns/holes :)

yuckies. I bet that cost him.

Mine is EFI and has a rev limiter just like a 4.0, albeit a much higher rpm... No floating valves fer me :)

You did that side second, huh? I know that feeling :wierd:

Get a welding jacket. The little burns make cool stories, but not getting burned is a lot more comfortable.

Yeah, my dad's gonna get one for me thru work hopefully this week or next :) and yup, the welding looks like shit, but i think it'll do the job which is absolutely all i care about heh. Im getting better with the overhead bs for sure though.

Pics would be too embarassing :D and the rockers arent done, i wanted to get the stiffeners done then get the rockers/legs on in one shot...it looks like lots of rain this week, but im going to try to get stuff done at least as much as mother nature will let me

i also put stiffeners on today. i thought i did my frame from the very front to leaf hanger, but i saw a random piece i cut off laying in the garage today and was like "oh shit, i forgot i was too lazy to unbolt my shock to install that one day"

i also put the fuel cell in the j-10 and got some fittings for the fuel lines. now all i need is a passenger floor and a u joint and she is ready for ri state inspection
