THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

exactly my thinking, but I can't gawdayum wait to be done with this week

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I have a drunk customer calling me over and over again telling me he needs machine screws and that we just lost his business. I want to go home.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

You don't have machine screws? Does he need something special?

Me too. I can't wait to get outside.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

It's not my account and I'm alone at the store. Atleast once a month he gets drunk at noon on a friday and does this. he's called 3 times in the last half hour. How important can his aftrenoon workload be that he needs 10-24 x 3/4" machine screws and he's loaded?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

What else would you be doing?

I'd like to assess the camry and see what I need to do with it so I can sell it sooner rather than later, this afternoon will be awesome weather so maybe I'd be smart to do that. Also wanna bring the CX to Mia's house if I can, so I can get it titled in NH and get the ball rolling on that front...

oh and I have a Jeep that needs my attention too :anon:

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

anyone takin the fuel rail off a renix i have to do injector orings just wondering how much of a pain it is

Wasn't hard on my HO...not sure how different the renix is.

Remove pressure by pressing on schrader valve
Disconnect fuel lines (this part is the only one that sucks)
Unplug FPR line
Remove TB linkage bracket
Unplug injectors
Unbolt fuel rail (probably need a few good tugs, I gently pried with a screwdriver)
Throw old o-rings away
Lubricate new o-rings with some oil
Plug everything back in

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Just got the official email that we'll remain open. Apparently, the Center has some $ on the books that they're going to use. It's not going to be peachy but at least we'll get paid. Phew.

Good to hear.

I can't wait to go home and burn in some tube adapters.

Probably going to get that done and then paint them as well as the trackbar bracket. Give it one final check for binding/clearance throughout travel and then make some shock mounts. Probably be able to drop the front down tomorrow morning.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Yeah. It really is. :)

I'm:

-working on my motorcycle tonight (sprocket swap, oil change, cleaning & relubing the chain)
-making fender roller after motorcycle is done (probably won't finish)
-joyriding motorcycle tomorrow
-working on VW tomorrow evening (small stuff)
-moutain biking Sunday (I think...)

edit: Hey Colin - I get to use my 3/4 drive stuff to do the sprocket swap .!. :D .!. The front sprocket is held on by a 32mm (~1 1/4) nut.
