THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

time to cook up some french toast and BACON mmmmmm

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I rode my motorcycle to work today. Couldn't feel my right thumb by the time I got here.

I gotta get mine in the shop soon to get the carbs cleaned/synced. Planning on calling tomorrow to try and set up a time to drop it off  can't wait.

My dual sport is definitely going to be sold sooner than later but I can't decide if I want to sell the fazer as well. I really don't want to sell it but if I did I could pick up something a lot newer which is kinda tempting.

WTF THERES NO BREAD IN MY HOUSE NOW I CANT MAKE FRENCH TOAST!@$#@$.... Looks like its waffles....

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

That cover looks purdy. I like how high clearance it is.

That would be BA

whats so high clearance about a diff cover?

thats like saying you have high clearance doors when your rockers are still under them

High clearance as in perpendicular to the mounting surface.

I had problems with my tie rod hitting my ruffstuff cover on my HP44. Wasn't a big deal because my pitman arm was short, but if I wanted full turning radius I would have had to do something about it.

The ARB covers are higher clearance than stock covers. AKA my ram is tucked pretty far back and still clears the cover. If I had a ruffstuff cover it might be a problem.

I love how everyone jumps on the plate steel cover bandwagon without a second thought. I got a deal on mine and paid $140. Go price out a Ruffstuff D60 diff cover. $120 before adding countersunk hardware AND shipping.

Waffles are just pancakes with syrup reservoirs. i.e. awesome.

This weather is making me seriously consider bailing out early today and working on the roof.

Do it. What's the hold up?

What's the one you want to buy?

PS: welcome back :wave1:

gasket surface to outside is less than others, especially Ruff Stuff

Still a lot of sand on the roads 'round these parts. Heck they were salting them earlier this week.
The last few days were pretty rainy down here. There's still sand built up in turns and intersections, but the salt has all been washed away thankfully.

I want heated grips...

I want Riddlers again. Smoothness FTW. That might look funny on a D70 though. Might require some trimmage.

I have high clearance doors thanks to "Sam 'Sir Wheels a Lot' McIntyre's" backyard.

Yes so full of win... I just ate a stack of waffles and a heart attack sized amount of Bacon... I am now ready for my bowling class!

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

More talk of a potential govt furlough. Glad all my bills are up to date.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

yeah... politics sucks. What REALLY pisses me off is that they are all ignoring the fact that they are trying to cut like 1% of 10% of the budget and leaving the massive elephants in the corner (ACA, SS, medicare, and I hate to say it... defense spending) alone because it is political death to touch them.

They're more worried about getting re-elected by pleasing everyone and not touching anyone's piece of the pie than they are about the fact that we are heading toward an economic cliff at a break neck pace.

Meanwhile, more of our money goes to China and Japan by the day (Japan I don't have as much of an issue with, as their products are generally high quality, their government is not repressive, etc) and China's government is busy buying our land and government with the money they got selling us cheap crap that won't last more than a couple years.

I hope to be bailing early to go drink beer and play cornhole. If the ground isn't dry yet cornhole may be substituted with bowling.

What's the holdup on what? Bringing the bike to the shop or selling it?
If you meant bringing it to the shop for the tune up: I have just been busy lately. Any time I have access to a trailer I don't have the time, any time I have time I don't have a trailer.
If you meant selling it: No one has bought it yet, it just went up for sale on CL a couple days ago. Got one email on the XT350 but nothing on the Fazer.

What's do I want to buy: Originally put the bikes up for sale because I found a '93 Yamaha GTS1000. Since then I have reconsidered that option and have been looking at a 2008 Buell XB12R or 1125R (or CR) or maybe a triumph speed triple. Also looking at a few late model Yamahas.

And thanks, good to be back. Hopefully the Jeep will be running again soon and I can actually wheel this year.

That sucks.

100% agree even on the defense spending.

I've seen people here that work their ASS off, and I've seen people here who suck and don't contribute anything except hinder other's ability to work.

The group I work with assembling trailer racks/equipment are working 11-12 hour days non-stop to try and get shit out the door. Some higher up is whining about them moving a cabinet 20 feet over to another room. XXXXing kidding me?

The air traffic control program I've been working with as well has the FAA asking them to do 30 peoples jobs with a 5 person PMO staff. All the while adding more and more scope to the program. One of the guys on the job is friggin useless and has no clue about anything going on. So the other 2-3 people are picking up the slack while they offload some other grunt work to me since I'm new.

With all the useless people here not doing crap but touting that their jobs are important (not to mention unions) it drives our rates skyhigh. Defense contractors (and I'm sure the defense facilities owned by the government) need to learn to cut off the slack or get lazy bitches to work.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread
