The tent is an Alps Mountaineering Extreme 2. A friend of mine has one too. Seems like one of the better tents that can be had for $100. I didn't feel like spending $200...

i have a coleman grill yo

and 2 single sleeping bags zipped together for a couples sleeping bag giggity

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

The reviews of the stove are pretty good. They say it sometimes takes a few clicks to start in wet weather, but that's not too bad. The heat control is excellent. You can have the stove barely on and the whole flame is blue. I played around with it some last night...

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

That's a pretty cool stove Anthony.

I have a Coleman tent (it's a monster) along with a free frame for a queen size air mattress with a pump. Got it all for free from a friend of mine in FTR when he got an RV.

It leaks a bit during heavy thunderstorms, but only from the ground soaking up not from rain dropping down.

Works fine for what I use it for, aka camping trips and not backpacking.

Those 2 burner coleman's are great for car camping.

My bag opens up all the way and can fit 2 under the sewn-in sheet. It's only a 40* bag, but it's been quite a while since I've gone winter camping.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

It wouldn't be a bad thing for me if I found a 2person tent, but the trail dome 4 I've got now can still be manageable, though a PITA packing wise.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

nice. i have a msr superfly. love it.
I think I saw that one when I was in EMS yesterday. Looks like a good piece of equipment.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Adam we need to get a group together for a camping trip somewhere on the Island maybe hit indian island or something? good times would be had...

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

On Monday I told a coworker I'd drive him to the dealership after work today so he could pick his JK up. Last night I was all pumped to ride my motorcycle to work today because it was going to be the nicest day of the week but then I realized I couldn't because I had to drive him. Now he's asking if I want to go to lunch. I told him I was all set, I brought a lunch. Then he says 'Oh... I didn't bring one and I don't have a car' Good job, pal.

i'm down.. wont be brining my backpacking gear though that stuff is WAAY to expensive to ruin being crazy camping at indian island haha

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I have a 6 person tent that fits like 6 dudes no homo. And a cot, warm weather sleeping bag, and 30deg mummy bag... and the stuff to put up a 10x20 tarp in the middle of a field (or in woods.)

Usually I say "f all that noise" and hang my hammock up, jump in the bag, and pass out. Even hammered its pretty comfortable, and if I hurl it stays away from the sleeping bag so it's win-win!
