THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

assuming it was active every second of every day between then and now, right?
I would assume that because that is typically what web-servers strive for. Even if it was down 1 hour a day (which would be horrible record) it would still only be 0.138%.

You have any recipes with hot sauce in them? I'm wanting to make something else soon.

:D I tried to edit that quick after a read what I typed. Oh well.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

See attachment - I have a great example less than 2 feet away from me. :D

And that's in a 5-806x (Dana 60 axleshaft joint).

I've heard a particular school of thought that you should always install the joint so the grease fitting is in compression (picture how the yokes are turning; two quarters of the joint are in compression, and two are in tension). It made sense to me at the time...as long as you're driving forward.

(that joint was broken trying to reverse out of a hole )

:dunno:

Arent 806's the non-greaseable ones and 733's are the greaseable version?

Dana 60 Bible said:
Greasable: Spicer SPL55-4x also called 5-733x

Permanently Sealed: SPL55-3x, also called 5-806-x

The chicken I made this weekend was XXXXing fantastic.

Shredded Chicken & Chipotle Quesadillas

- ~3 lbs boneless chicken breast
- 1 can chipotles & adobo sauce
- 1 white onion
- 1 green bell pepper
- some green salsa
- minced garlic
- ground black pepper
- 1 can Rotel (mexican style, lime & cilantro)
- 1 bag mexican mix shredded cheese
- large tortillas

***
- Chop up onion & green pepper, set aside (I just mixed it in the same bowl)
- Remove chipotles from adobo sauce & finely mince; set sauce aside
- sprinkle a thin layer of the pepper & onion on the bottom of the slow cooker
- lay 2-3 chicken breasts on the pepper & onions (depends on how big your cooker is)
- sprinkle some of the minced chipotle on top
- smear some of the adobo sauce over the chicken & chipotles
- place another thin layer of peppers & onions on the sauce
- add some pepper & garlic
- stack 2-3 more chicken breasts on top, repeat as needed

( the idea being you just keep alternating layers of peppers/onions/chicken/chipotle/adobo...this really helps everything soak together)

- once all chicken is stacked, cover the mess in a thin layer of green salsa
- cook 8+ hours on low (I did closer to 10)

- remove chicken breasts from slow cooker & shred into a bowl/broil pan
- using a slotted spoon, use some of the leftover veggies to mix back into the chicken
- put a layer of shredded cheese on a tortilla
- add shredded chicken
- add Rotel to taste***
- add another layer of shredded cheese
- cover with a second tortilla
- Set oven to high broil and put the quesadilla in for a minute or two til lightly browned; flip & repeat
- Slice w/pizza cutter, add toppings to taste

Also works good into a burrito or taco kinda thing, or just eating the shredded chicken straight outta the pan. BANGIN. I was pretty happy with this one.

***NOTE: the Rotel is good stuff, but use it sparingly - you can overpower everything else with it in a hurry due to the cilantro. I only ended up with a couple chunks of tomato per quesadilla slice and it was fine that way.

If everyone stops talking about it, it will go away.

sadly everyone says this and then keeps talking about it.

I know, I'm gonna get the westboro baptist church to picket if she ever stages a concert.
