Spent a couple hours this afternoon and did the entire DS knuckle. Cut & modded the knuckle and cut/heated&bent/tacked all the plating.

These damn things better hold up. If they break, Im gunna be pissed off and then laugh at the time I spent with them, I'll go home and procced to buy the finest knuckles possible.

I have access to:
E250-Cool axle is gay because it has drums
S10 blazer-bumpstops are annihilated, the car looks like it caught fire or something.
Mercury Cougar- it had some flange colin wanted, I couldn't find a socket, cut into it with a torch and messed it up a little.
Explorer- I'll take the driveshaft from it, maybe disk brakes.

Rip those gay drums off and weld some other shit on or something
Flange - is that the same as the 1330 flange off an 8.8 in a grand marquis or crown vic etc? I have one he can have free if so

i dunno what would be best. probably thin strand. im going from the batts on the truck to the back so i can run a winch.

Why not do what I am doing. 2 short cables out the front with an andersen connector, 2 long cables on with andersen connectors on both ends, and a andersen connector on the winch. Then you can grab a set of jumper cable clamps, another andersen connector and a bit more wire, and have a set of nice long jumper cables.

If that was to hard to follow

i found a place del city.com that has most of the ends that i will need. can i just use a punch and hammer to crimp the ends?

Napa sells solder pellets that work great. If you are going to crimp it like that, I recommend soldering it as well.

And they would all wear out before this drill. Scotty has gone through several DeWalt drills and many batteries, some Makita, and Craftsman. I'm just regurgitating what he's told me at the moment, but it really is worth the cash.

And when you drop it off the roof, your out $500 instead of $100.

day 2 of being sick..

debating whether or not to call in tomorrow or save it for the summer when i just want to not go to work.

Been here almost 5 years with 0 sick days.

I've come in with welding flash so bad I couldn't even see my monitor, and one day where I had no vocal capabilities at all. My first 3 sick days per year come out of my PTO. XXXX that.
