Even if I'm right about it being an unfinished Stellite ball valve trunion, I still have no idea how it would get into that piece of wood, or how a sawmill blade would just *happen* to glance past it at the perfect angle.

It might have been a piece of laminated wood with the ball thing stuck inside. I believe that's one way they do keel weights for sailboats, which would be made of tungsten or a tungsten-related alloy (which could be Stellite for that matter).

It seems small for that application, but it might have been a small sailboat too - maybe someone cut up an old boat for firewood. (paging Egon?)

Dude Jim Koch is a nice guy. My friend used to work at the brewery so i got to meet him and wow, he really likes beer... I also got to try Utopia and no joke, it was delicious especially for the strongest beer in the world (at the time)

I don't eat at those type of establishments much, but I did try that XXL Chalupa and those are pretty good. The cheesy potato burritos also aren't bad. I do like burgers better though.

How much better do you expect a creepy to do than a trep on the street? Still a waste of expensive tire, IMO. I know you wheel a lot, but DD'ing that tire wouldn't be worth it.
