Actually looks like you can use a HO engine harness and just swap the computers :dunno:

My 90 didn't have the C100 connector on the firewall.

I wonder how that works out, seeing as the IP on OBD-I gets its speedo signal from the ECU. I'm inclined to disbelieve that thread seeing as CC moderation is the "everyone say nice things about each other" type and any kind of negative (i.e. "you're wrong stop misleading people") post tends to get deleted.
Also I think he's referring to a late model RENIX harness - the 87s and maybe 88s had the C101, the 89s (?) and 90s did not.
There were 4 XJs in my backyard for a while a few weekends ago:
Later that evening there were a lot of flames instead:
(this was before it really got going. The flames ended up being two or three times as tall as the love shack)
Something I found at wal-mart looking for a hotwheels XJ:
How I ended up stuck 500 feet from my apartment:
(damn hitch drawbar got stuck on the pavement... if I could get that stupid thing out of the receiver I'd be real happy, it's rusted in place)

The plan is to not even come close to using all of it and Scotty said he'd buy what I don't use back. It's going to be a bit more involved than just a 27"x40"x8" box, but that's the gist of it.
There's a HD less than 10 mins from Scotty's shop and he suggested that we do the installation at his shop. It's cleaner, bigger, and he's already got all his electronics installation tools there. He drove.
