I know your Dad's Challenger has a ridiculous amount of power, but it's fairly heavy IIRC. I wonder how my Dad's Z06 would fair against it in a straight line... Around turns the Z06 would easily win. We'll never find out because my father would never participate in such childish activity

my "sound system" consists of one rear speaker i think its a boston acoustic, a JVC radio with IPOD hook up and some stupid brand front speakers i forgot what brand, but they were 80 bucks for two. i think i have a total of $190 give or take into it lol. in other word, IT SUCKS. i just cant wait to have a DD that i feel confortable and enjoy driving. then ill sink some money into stuff like that.

I think next summer I'll be still be working on my MJ because I now have more excuses as to why I can't work on it than Anthony does and I'm going to be real tempted to quit the MJ and buy the 70 Duster off my dad and then I'll be crying at night to myself while everyone else has fun and drives offroad without me and even Adam will be done.

Lighter than I expected. IIRC, the Z06 is 3200#.

I doubt my dad has ever lit up the tires. :confused1

I've been in it a few times but he's never done anything interesting with me in the car.

He had a horrible time shifting the day he got it. It has a B&M short throw shifter which is like 50% shorter throw than anything he's ever driven before.

My dad lights the tires everytime he takes it out.

Everytime I've been in the car with him he has put the pedal to the floor.

I thought that was the plan right along...?

Meh, if he even wants to sell it to me. He bought it off my brother for $3500 so I'd probably pay him the same.

Did you catch my edit? :wave1: (it has a turbo too). I know you know what Subaru engines sound like because you tell us how your friend's STi is lame. Those don't sound weedwhacker-eque and they're 4 cyls.

Mine has a nice burble and doesn't whine.

:laugh: I did now. I've heard plenty of VWs and ridden in my fair share of "turbo'd" ones. Not one, even those with non-factory exhaust sound good. I'm still sticking with my weedwacker. Low burble fart cans don't impress me.
