In reply to your bacon burger:

yeah... don't think I've ever been over 210. My 34-34 pants are presently an inch or two too big around the middle.

I can usually put away an entire frozen sack of tyson buffalo chicken wings for a meal, and one christmas break in college there was a sale on candy corn (10 cents a bag, jokingly called them dime bags) and I literally went through a 14oz bag every day for a month without gaining weight. I love that shit... and fruitcake too. It's great because no one else does!

My standard diet these days is 2-3 donuts/muffins for breakfast, two massive fluffernutters or a mini pizza for lunch, and 3/4 gallon of milk + entire box of cereal for dinner. Once in a while a triple whopper meal and a milkshake or a Moe's Homewrecker for dinner...

e-brake. Wheeling is less fun when your brakes fail as you're going down a steep hill.
God damn, my breakfast includes coffee, sometimes a muffin. Lunch is a sandwich and bag of sunchips, dinner is whatever is cooked or whatever I find around the house (unless I go out for beers & food, then I just buy something).

And deep gearing plus manual trans means going down hills without brakes isn't so much of an issue as it is in an auto
edit: rob beat me to it

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Yeah, I have no doubt that I could keep it in place with a combination of compression braking and putting the fr output in H and rear ouput in L. but I'd rather not.

Rob, I really like the idea of a driveline brake, but I'm being cheap about buying one... I didn't plan on spending $ on the D300...
i dont think ill get one, i gotta put funds elsewhere

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Yeah, exactly...

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

the e-brake on the M54 is a driveline brake... the shoes alone will cost me 200 dollars to replace. It's gonna suck, I think I will need a new one soon, it won't stay in adjustment, gonna try dropping 60 bucks on a new cable for it first.

its no issue, friend of mine gots a 231 300 doubler in his tj, he has to give it gas going down hills, its awsome

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

yeah, giving it gas or upshifting to 2nd is what I imagine I'll be doing.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

You should put dual manuals and another doubler box in, then just put the slip yoke for the transfer case right onto the U-joint at the rearend. Who needs rear motor mounts and traction bars?

yes, I am joking.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Seems like a lot of people are shearing off the bolt bosses on the block. Just another posted up on Pirate about it a minute ago.

Though these seem to be guys racing competitively.

you'd need your pilot's license if you were going to compete with them I think.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Ha.

I don't think I'm actually going to jump the MJ though. Not without air bumps or anything.

We'll see how long that lasts though

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

No ebrake here. There are times when it might have been nice, but not enough yet to make it worthwhile.

I could pretty easily mount the eldorado calipers with the built-in parking brake lever on the rear axle, but they're expensive and I've heard mixed reviews about their holding power with larger tires. Plus the cable & handle would be a pain in the ass.

Back to yesterday's conversation about the hydro assist stuff - I also like still having the steering wheel lock sometimes.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

im going assist, that reminds me i should get the ram when i get the steel from my supplier next week, all kinda pointless as i still wont have the rod ends by then

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Thinking about it I will probably hook up the e-brake next time i have the tires off. one of the sides was way out of adjustment and the cable slipped off at the axle end (easy fix) and one cable broke (also easy fix, already have a spare cable). Figure I may as well fix it since its easy. :dunno: still probably wont use it

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

oh yeah? oh yeah? oh yeah? XXXX YOU!
