THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Measuring things while flexing things into position then tacking them while holding it there sounds like a 2-3 person job.

Unless you're Goro

I am Goro. Problem solved.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

What the hell are you going to tie the crossmember to if you don't plate the rails first?

I plated the outside rails, built the front crossmember and the outer mounts, then I worked on the inside.

I'm not Goro, but I'm fairly comfortable in strange positions :gag:

One foot on opposite frame rail, back/other leg braced against near frame rail, one hand to hold tape measure and feel for crossmember alignment, remaining hand for welder.

Good point on what to tie the crossmember to, though.

buck a piece at walmart. The garlic parmesan is good too; pasta alfredo, not so much.

My mid-morning snack of choice at the moment.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Hmmm, never had those. Might have to check them out for dinner.

And I wish I could eat one of those as a 'mid morning' snack and not be 500lbs, I could maybe have one for lunch I guess... I have a hard enough time keeping myself around 230. I hate people who have super high metabolism and can eat all day every day and not gain a pound

on that thought if they are that good maybe I will start getting those for lunch here at work. $1 << $5-$6

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

For those that are interested, I was going to bring the rails back into spec with something like this before I weld everything together.

Those meals are tasty, yes. I'm partial to these:

Still only a buck.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i think i may be cutting some floors today

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I've never been over 140 a day in my life. :D Certainly not for lack of trying though...I eat all kinds of junk all the time and probably drink too much beer.

I don't even know how to read a nutrition label really. Just have no concept of what all the numbers mean. :dunce:

I'm really looking forward to lunch today. There's a local south american BBQ place that makes what might be the best pulled pork on the planet...it's a little pricey, like $8-$9 lunch, but god damn is it good. I'd go there every day if it was cheaper. Once or twice a month ain't bad though.

I used to weight lift a lot... I couldn't get heavier than 169 lbs. Now that I don't lift, I never weigh more than 162. Keep in mind that I'm 6'2. And I still eat whatever I want and drink tons of beer. Billy is the same way.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I've never seen those. Must find.

Further commenting on my horrible eating habits: I've eaten a half-pound block of pepper jack cheese in one sitting. More than once.

Last month that BBQ place had a special called the Divine Swine. Pulled pork, sliced sausage, and bacon smothered in BBQ sauce with pepper jack, lettuce, tomato on a fresh soft roll. Heaven.

They are delicious.

That's a lot of cheese. Did you poop at all for a week afterwards?

That sandwich sounds yummy.

I made 2 burgers out of 1.3 lbs of ground beef, on buns, loaded with condoments, at them both and had a beer. Twice.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

You guys are tiny.

I eat a crapload more than anyone should but I can't get more than 200-210. I'm 6'2ish.

I used to run 2.5 miles every day after work and lift as well. Back then I was around 190-200 so I haven't fluctuated much.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I'm proud to say that I've never worn a pair of pants whose waist is larger than the inseam. The only pair of jeans I buy is Levi's 550 32W, 34L. Yes, I know we've already talked about jean size in this thread haha

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I hate you all :smsoap: :D

Think I lost a few lbs lately since I cut back on beer and have been watching what I eat a bit (usually watching it as it goes into my mouth, but I digress).

I really gotta start going to the gym again, I haven't gone since mid summer and spent the entire summer drinking beer and BBQ'ing. I put on around 10lbs since then (up to 240 last I checked). I wish I could just run but flat feet & bad ankles make the impact of running on pavement unbearable, end up with my knees, back, etc all sorts of hurting so I have to penny up for the gym for the elliptical

Business as usual.

I've been wanting to try one of these for a while but I don't have a meat grinder. Ever just walk into a butcher and ask for a pound of bacon, ground?

Skip the ranch, though. Sliced pepper jack & a good potato roll please.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I wear 30W, 30L. Might even be a little big but that size is hard enough to find as it is.

Lately it's been Carhartt. I usually stop at the Cabela's in PA on the way out to rausch, and they have pretty good sales most of the time.
