THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

dammit, you are making this sound too easy. those axles are everywhere.

Inboarding the springs in the rear and bolting in the front 60 will give you like 8 inches of lift. Instantly ready for 38" or bigger tires!

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I really wish I had a few grand to spend on tons, a built engine, the 4 speed I want and coilovers. I guess I can wait awhile since it's basically like purchasing a badass coffin.

And considering you've only really gone wheeling like 2 times in your Honcho.

:D

Chris, awesome story.

Ken, when are you going to make it down here now that you have another disabled vehicle?

Adam, you want a PC 971. Tell them not to cut it, I have the tools for that. I never checked my 'inventory' last night either. I'll make a point to today.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

going to the parts store, then throwing a set of rotors and pads on the XJ. 12:12 PM right now, lets see how fast i can do it.

1:28

no air tools, and that includes me putting everything away, and getting the large glass of water im now drinking. and the damn jagaloons who took my wheels off last (before i owned this thing obv) cross threaded all the lugs :gonnablow

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

You need to meet Carmelo. Everytime he tells a story I'm usually in tears laughing so hard.

......................:roflmao:

I need a welding jacket. I have some sweet burns on my left arm. Maybe I'll take a trip to the store on Saturday and pick one up.

or you could just buy welding sleeves

They seem like they would be a PITA to put on and off. Bill said he hated them.

I gota sleeves, they work but a jacket would deffiently be nicer. i hate when my sleeve rolls down off my shoulder exposing my elbow.

I'm debating being a whore and picking up the SRW just to have another around.

dont worry, youre not the only one. i will buy any front 60 i find for under $300. ive been forcing myself not to look.

Tomorrow as planned, I'll be fixing the XJ tonight if all goes well and I have another two vehicles I can still drive! All this screws up is my plan for today, which was to finish the M54A2 repairs tonight. Hopefully that'll happen Friday night.

i might do the spring over, but figure out some different springs. 8" is taller than id like

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Ken, OK that sounds good. I'll be here. I'm going to not go to trivia tonight to hopefully get more done around the house. That will probably consist of me editing more pictures and drinking beer, but it's gotta get done.

Where are people buying welding jackets? My arms have been getting burned quite a bit lately too and I would like to remedy that.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

milwaukee 14" chop saw. The same one Colin, Bill, and I have. It's half the price of new and they're built like tanks. Someone get it.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I need dowel pins for my 4.0 to mate to the t176 bellhousing, I'll probably have to have Josh get them from the dealer.

Also might try to get an inspection plate from him as well. If not, I'll mod the AX-15 one to work. It only needs one new hole drilled and some trimming.

Ordered the stainless poly wrapped MC-to-SC line from Novak today though.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

so buying it (unless someone else jumped on it), I have been eying one at home depot for weeks and I hate not being able to actually cut metal.

I was going to call on it the next time I am out in western MA (though I never replied on here saying I want it :laugh3:). Idk if I will end up out that way this wkend or not, so chances are you will get to it before I can; it's all yours. Hell if I am out that way before you I can probably stop by and pick it up for ya

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Yeah, that's what I thought. I thought he was trying to post that picture saying that he owned one too for a second :-p But really, they can cut stuff like that no problem.
