THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I hear they improve parking divider performance significantly.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Yeah they got the best of me so I had to buy them.

I'm going to order some rock rings from the same company for my H2s and find someone to TIG them to my wheels for me.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

holy crap.

that easily a 1 million dollar piece of land on LI...
Land in my town is actually pretty damn expensive (though not quite 1M I don't think) and this house is in the same town I live in now (albeit on the opposite side of town, all of 5-10 min away). I think this is a lot cheaper than most due to the location near the commuter rail.

What's the asking price? I can't see a place that size being anything under 200 or 300k.
It is under $200k but I won't say how much :eyes:, I will say the asking price is pretty close to the top of my "possible"/likely affordable range which I have mentioned before.. Definitely going to look into it a lot more before committing to buying (obviously) but it does pass title V so that's one less thing to worry about. My mother was on the property this morning and mentioned that it looks like some kids got in and graffiti'ed the downstairs walls but didn't look like any damage other than paint from what she saw.

Who wants to do my digital comms modulation and coding homework for me.

I don't really feel like it.
Wonder if that's anything like a super advanced version of the signals&systems course that I took :dunno: and no I don't want to do it, I hated that class.

Totally not but whatever bumpstop suspension rides pretty nice. I foresee everyone using my bumpstops and XJ/pooppipe driveshaft hybrids within a year.
I already planned on looking into those bumps sooner or later. Depending on my home shopping schedule I will probably be hitting the JY this wkend and those are on the shopping list (at least looking for them is on the list).

Edit: and the house already has 200Amp service running to it  hopefully they ran the 220V directly to the garage and didn't just run a 110V line to it...

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Doesn't a J10 weigh a significant amount more than a waggy? I'd kinda expect that outcome, though it still sucks.

the difference was in the axles & REAR leafs due to the bed & gvwr. the fronts were pretty much the same as they came with (mostly) the same engine/tranny/tcase combos. his were probably just very fatigued.

FAWK!!!! I just called my agent and he checked the MLS for that house and it says it went under agreement today :( He is making some calls for me and double checking the accuracy of that since I was told it's available a few hours ago... but we will see, chances are I missed out.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Those are SUPER long and I personally don't like that style end. Plus you'll need something for the axle end, so that adds to the cost as well.
Just make sure you get a quality strap. No Wal-Mart/China specials. Do you really want to risk it by saving $5-8/strap?

Edit: I got these, but you can probably get away with a 8' version on that 16' trailer. These have an integrated axle loop which I do like, but you can get separate pieces if you want.

Check out the package deals they've got to save a few bucks. I got a Super pack and then two additional straps for sucking down the suspension.
Also, as Colin mentioned you really have to look at your trailer first, you might need chains so the straps don't rub on the frame.

Did you get in on the sale?
What about steering? If you got in on the sale you might as well get that stuff too.

All my suspension joints are RH. The steering/panhard do have LH/RH threads. That's personal preference.

List looks good.

econotrailer.com/full is the trailer... you can see listed in the standard features and in the picutres it's got 4 d-rings, so those straps you linked to would work fine. the integrated axle straps are nice, but there's a nuera trailer supply place near me and they've got the axle straps in different lenths/colors etc for like $6 each, so that's not really a big deal... I'll probably order the set from mac's though, they look really nice, for not much more $$... I'd rather spend the money once and be done. thanks for your insight sir! :) hope you get your ds parts soon so your all set for the weekend!

ahhh that explains it. Thanks

they are made of meat, they should kinda expect to be eaten :dunno:

yep, you really gotta jump on these, like same-day jump on them. If it is a good deal it will go FAST else it will sit around forever. It shows as no longer available to me.
