Those are SUPER long and I personally don't like that style end. Plus you'll need something for the axle end, so that adds to the cost as well.
Just make sure you get a quality strap. No Wal-Mart/China specials. Do you really want to risk it by saving $5-8/strap?
Edit: I got these, but you can probably get away with a 8' version on that 16' trailer. These have an integrated axle loop which I do like, but you can get separate pieces if you want.

Check out the package deals they've got to save a few bucks. I got a
Super pack and then two additional straps for sucking down the suspension.
Also, as Colin mentioned you really have to look at your trailer first, you might need chains so the straps don't rub on the frame.

What about steering? If you got in on the sale you might as well get that stuff too.
All my suspension joints are RH. The steering/panhard do have LH/RH threads. That's personal preference.
