Jeff - Tuesday is perfectly fine, I'm in no hurry on these, don't need em yet just want spares on hand. The damn thing barely moves atm anyways :roflmao:

Ross - all lines, I've got the condenser, comp, evap covered. Might need the orifice tube thinger as well, not sure.

Just got done putting the new shackles in the xj, only a few moew things till its ready to beat on tomorrow

ken, so your going tomorrow? should i bring the MJ taillights for you? i think i said it was something like $20 per light. i got them in the Jeep if you still want them and will be there, will take them out if you dont.

edit: so my aunt showed me pics of her cousin (or something... i think she said it was her cousin but apparently this chick is about my age). so my aunt kept talking like she should set us up and bringing it up in subtle (or not so subtle) ways like giving me her BB with this girls facebook page pulled up and such and keeps bringing it up from time to time (just told her husband that 'i showed scott her pics' type thing...) All I can say is that this girl is, er, out of my league? :laugh: my god ... so I'm pretty sure her attempts to set us up would result in a complete failure :laugh: would be sweet if it worked though. Kept asked whether my company has any offices in NJ since she lives down there and when I said no she mentioned that "well I don't think she wants to stay there permanently". I think my aunt is crazy

Took it out for a spin today after getting everything done and it had a mean shake around 50-55mph (I would guess I was somewhere around that speed). I'm hoping the shake was just because the tires hadn't warmed up yet, esp since it didn't seem quite as bad later in the drive... that and the drive was all of maybe 10 min long so they probably never even fully warmed up. Going to hop on the highway tomorrow and see how shes driving at 65-70 (highway is a 10-15 mile backroad drive from home, so plenty of time to warm up if needed). If it's more or less smooth I will be wheeling tomorrow if nothing breaks on the drive out there :laugh:. If it's shaking real bad I will have to turn back home unless I can find out why it's so bad.

they're swampers so unless you get full on death wobble you're good to go. and today on your
test ride they probably just had flat spots in em and were
out of round. I know it took a good 15 minutes to warm up any of the
bias ply tires I've had... have fun wheeling tomorrow doods!!!

Yeah I plan on being there, just got everything I give a shit about fixed on the xj. I don't even know where we're meeting yet :roflmao: will bring cash.

Camp underground, not sure what the plan is really

Floors in the xj are still marginal, everything else is fixed. Hell I even got the receiver to bolt back up!

I may have to sawzall my swaybar links to get them off but that's why spares exist!

The only time I wheeled with the current owner, it kept dying out on the trail, I looked at it, he had the ground to a bolt in the plastic toolbox that was just sitting up against the bed. Every time the toolbox moved a bit, it lost ground.

i hung out with him last night.

this was when he put the fuel cell in and it was grounded to the bed under the liner. it just shifted a couple times and made a shit connection

Already managed to tweak my lca bracket, but I walked up a climb one of the wranglers winched up :eyes:

Nah that one is in my dd, I busted the rust glob axle in the 96, it didn't like doing an endo at all

So the new gears seem to be holding up. Was doing 65 up Rt 16 to Wakefeild yesterday and back home today. I've got a little over 200 miles on them now. The airsoft BB balancing kinda sucks but I'll get over it.
