Ok, so it looks like people are showing up anytime between 6:30 and 7ish. Everyone please bring a few bucks for pizza/soda/beer. I'll only be able to fit one or 2 more vehicles in the driveway, so feel free to park on the grass/street.

Last night, saw Piranha 3D with some friends to celebrate the end of term. One of the worst movies of all time, but it had gratuitous boobies and gore, and a few funny parts.
Now I'm going to the Sox game for free. Mom called me up and asked if I wanted tickets, a friend had them and couldn't go. The tickets are $130 a piece, so I take it they aren't too shabby.

looks like I might be helping install a new exhaust system on a '92 XJ tonight, if not, reconnecting the drivetrain in the '96 for sure. I want that thing on the road pronto.

Hmmm, my buddy's throwout/pilot bearings should be in today... Hopefully he doesn't expect me to help him install a transmission tonight. I just remembered I have a 4:30 meeting so chances are I won't be out of here until at least 5:30. And of all days I had planned on skipping out a little early too so I could get some Jeep work done :doh:

Welcome to the club.
I would already be out of here (as I planned), but I have an important meeting from 3 to 5 that I got an invite to at 10am. I fully expect my brain to shut down and put me to sleep as soon as I walk in, fortunately I'm not presenting.
Oh and I've been here since yesterday at 9... I didn't need to be here for a couple of those hours but by that point it was silly to go home so I just napped for a bit. First allnighter in a month or so and I didn't really mind it, this meeting just threw a wrench in my plans :dunno:

I plan on watching Piranha 3D just for the boobies and the location. It was partly filmed in Lake Havasu. all that partying they show, actually happens, Ive been there. Theres a sandbar around the bend from the lake that just gets filled with people and everybody connects the barges, its crazy. Unfortunately the police do make rounds, in fact it was 1/2hr cops show on court tv awhile back about it. I cant wait to go in Feb.

Adam, this is the WJ I was trying to remember that had nicely painted H2 rims.
(Unfortunately, the kid that built that died when it rolled over on the street due to not wearing a seatbelt, happened in June).

now to expand a bit... it's pretty god damn ridiculous. for example. I had to take off the PS wheel/inner fender to unbolt the power steering pump and move it down, in order to get to one 10mm bolt, to remove the PCV box in order to slide the manifold off. Also had to remove the oil filter plus the adapter in order to get it out. I'm having a fawkin blast! Came into work 2 hours late today. When I leave work tonight I'll go back to clean the manifold with oven cleaner etc, and scrape all the gasket surfaces nice, then tomorrow morning go pick up a ton of gaskets and try my luck at smashing it all back together. Luck, which if I'm guessing right, does not exist. :doh:
