WTF

I just fatfingered a keyboard shortcut and whatever key combination I hit resulted in the image on my screen turning 90 degrees... i.e. the left edge of my screen is acting as the top. I was so surprised I don't even remember what key combo I was going for so I can't figure out what I hit instead.

HALP :helpme:

EDIT: figured out how to fix it but I still have absolutely no clue what keys I hit.

4.0 is torn apart except for the oil filter adapter, at some point this week the block will be taken to the carwash to be cleaned then i will spray bomb it black and turn it into a coffee table

So today I found out that my strange trans/bearing/??? noises don't really happen when the engine is cold, fired it up and revved it today and it sounded pretty good up to 4k. Hmmmm, idk if thats good :eyes: wondering if it may be an engine sound, though I guess bearings could get noisier as they warm up...

So on that thought I may be picking up a parts XJ later this week, esp if it has an AX-15 (going to look at it tues/wed hopefully). I MAY be able to drive it home but otherwise I will have to wait until I can rent a trailer. Should be pretty damn cheap I think. If anyone needs any parts I may have a 'cheap/fast part out thread' like bump just did starting sooner than later... I just might keep the engine (and trans if it is a 5-speed).

The big hole behind the steering box on the drivers frame rail was about a half inch too far forward. I just cut the little piece that was covering the hole off, and the bolt I had in there is now pinching the bracket against the frame, so I have friction on my side.

Correction, I noticed two spots that had been vulcanized. The big arse one you can see in the picture, and the other spot is on the opposite sidewall.

awesome, though I'd probably hit it with simple green, brakleen, and some clearcoat myself. I like shiny things :dunce:

if you decide to sell the transmission and it's in good shape I'll buy it. I'm not really certain I want to drive the auto jeeps anymore, have driven nothing but the massivemobile for 2 days. The red jeep with the manumatic work-in-progress is... well, ok I guess.

im thinkin of colring the inside og the cooling jackets bright XXXXing green, keeping the cylinders bare then any other hole bright red, then a nice coat of clear

and id love to make the DD a 5spd or get a 5 spd xj but wheelin wise i perfer a auto at this point, there will be way to many levers to control with a 5spd
