bslljoints have been done on the dd, the old ones were junk, olso found out the other nite the the motor mounts i replaced 2 months ago are junk, so ill be ordering some brown dog polys soon(i should of done this in the first place), been tinkering with the 95 also starting to figure out how the control arms and other stuff will fit, looks like ill be stuck with 3-4" of uptravel and 8-9" of downtravel wich is actually pretty good, i also decided im gonna run stock flares all the way around:roflmao:

hahaha, you're gonna love my rusty junk, I have quarter inch plating on 3' of the rear right frame rail and NOTHIN' anywhere else! :gee:

Probably going to throw a quarter inch sleeve on the other rear frame section, but I don't give a damn, this rust bucket is going away the next time it has sheetmetal issues.

I bet there won't be.

I had a "3 link" leaf sprung rear end by the time I'd (mostly) finished cutting rust away, my passenger side shackle hangar and the frame next to it was toast.

i maintain that on most transmissions reverse is usually a little bit lower than 1st. i have yet to hear of the opposite being true.

i think ill take a little trip to ocean state job lot and get myself a 12' x 12' popup tent roof thingy. i figure it i cover from my container to the back of the jeep, ill have a big dry area to work on the gas tank stuff

Ross/Colin, when you guys stitch welded around the outside of those plates, how much did you weld? Did you fully weld it?

Ross/Colin, when you guys stitch welded around the outside of those plates, how much did you weld? Did you fully weld it?

I believe we fully did the front plates on tinky winky. i will be fully doing all of my plates on black jeep.

So that was close. Left work at 3:40, as I was pulling onto the highway I got an email asking for me to take a quick look at something somewhat urgent so i turned around at the next exit and drove back to work... finally got out of the place again at like 4:10. Barely made it to Turner, the highway was moving so damn slow :banghead:

:dunno: i thought i stitched it all the way around most of the perimeter. i know there was a couple inches on the top that wasnt welded cause it was a bitch.
