i've got the parts and steel... just gotta get it done. i don't even want to do anything but work on my junk lately. it's awfully hermit-like of me. jenn doesn't approve.

Looks like I need that and the countershaft rear bearing retainer now.

I don't know wtf NP engineers were thinking when they designed those.

sucks that he broke it but either way your tranny will end up running properly.

yeah, the more you tell me about the transmission the more i have begun to think the same.

I'm heading down to Providence on Sat to drop my fam off at the train. Richmond is 45 min south of providence so it's a bit of a hike but if no-one else will be in the area any time soon I could possibly make the drive (would be even more willing to make the drive if the seller would want to head up towards a bit to cut my drive down some... since I'm sure gas would suck for me since I will be in a suburban :laugh3:

If you beat on it, plan on replacing rubber bushings quite a bit. The superrides on the LCAs at the axle end were TOASTED on mine when I sold it (though that's after 1.5 years of abuse).

4 hours till I get the hell out of here, pick up some parts at a Mazda dealer (:rolleyes: never fixing anything without live axles again, god I hate working on this thing), and then work on jeep(s). I haven't even decided which ones I'm gonna work on this weekend, figure I'll flip a coin when I get home

Bump, you gonna be around sometime Sunday? I have a header panel, battery, and other stuff I'm forgetting that all need to find their way to you.

That post did make me want a buffalo chicken pizza. I wish I was out in western MA, I really want to go back to the small hole in the wall shop with super cheap awesome huge slices of pizza near Springfield... like a "slice" of pizza was 2.50 and was as big as a normal pizza from other places. Wish I could remember the name of the place, I think I remember how to get there though... maybe I will have to road trip.

I do want a good buff chic pizza though. Gotta find one, maybe Emmas, their BBQ was damn good...

I will be in the afternoon. I'm running out to western Mass in the morning to pickup and drop off stuff. I'll give you a call when I'm on my way back.

Awesome, let me know. Anything else off my pile-o-junk that you need is up for grabs too.

My boss's boss just complimented me on the status update/presentation I gave this morning... would be great but sadly I'm fairly certain it curses me to working on this code for quite some time to come. At least I've mostly cleaned it up and heavily turd-polished it now, so it's not making me walk out the door wanting to quit every day.

down to about 45-50 now. Probably 40-45 in the near future.
