 friggin sweet.

On that note, I'm in the middle of redoing my gas tank relocation using 1x1x.125" angle iron as a frame along the edges of the floor and 1x1x1/16" box tubing as the frame for the cover.

I'll take pics next weekend.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

x2. I didn't think yours was that much wider than ours Ross? Mines right around 82".

my trailer is at least 84". when i had my 10" wide rims on, i wanna say i was like 79" overall with at least a couple of inches left on each side.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I am never buying Castrol GTX again.

I was in NAPA on Saturday (where I found out my card was declined) talking with the manager about my temp issue in the blairwitch, and ordering a ZJ fan clutch. He asked me what oil I was running, and told him Castrol. He laughed, and asked me if my temp issue started after I started running that oil.

He told me he had a guy about 10 years ago come in with a Jeep looking for a thermostat, as he kept running extremely hot, Jeep only had 5K on it, and was just given an oil change with Castrol. After switching out the oil, the temps in his jeep went back to normal.

So as per his suggestion, I did an oil change and used Valvoline's Durablend, the semisynthetic oil. Low and behold, the temps didn't get as high as on my initial test drive and when I came back up to Boston as they were before, barely getting past 210, when it was running about 225, 230ish before.

so what you mean to say is you begleyed an oil change? .!.:D.!.

ok, maybe not per the definition in your sig, but close enough to give you shit for it ;)

Haha, I think there are multiple entries under the definition for begley.

if you begley an already begleyed job, does it cancel out like a double negative?

Haha, I think it does.

I think we should definitely put "begleyed" into urban dictionary.

I ran castrol in my xj and it never ever overheated or even hit 210. You just switched from (presumably) 10w-30 dino oil to (presumably) 5w-30 Semi-synthetic oil. It doesn't take a mechanical engineer with schooling in fluid dynamics to know that an easier to pump oil with better lubrication properties is going to keep engine temperatures down.
