no, im pretty sure everetts is open.

So it looks like my jeeps are gaining more and more WJ parts... XJ is going to get WJ steering/front brakes and two WJ ABS modulators if I ever get that project finished, MJ is getting a WJ master cylinder and booster. If I ever replace the XJ's master cylinder and booster it'll get another WJ one, and then the brakes on it will be 75% WJ, 5% unknown vehicle, and 20% Ford.
Scott - I spent some time reading up on WJ knuckle swaps just now and it looks like I need 00-01 XJ unit bearings to make it work, and I'm going to need tone rings to make my traction control system work. Any chance you'd want to swap those shafts you got for a set of nearly rust free large-joint shafts with 99.5-down unit bearings on them already? Joints are in great shape, unit bearings seemed great too, I'll have to check again but they came out of an axle I got with almost all the factory paint still on it.
hmm... will have to consider it. I will probably need/want some spares around either way; my spare shafts are also 99.5-down style and I'd rather be able to carry spare shafts with unit bearings already installed.Ken if you want just the unit bearings from 99.5 up I have a pair from upgraded shafts I'm not using. I figure I can bring them to the JY saturday. Make an offer bc I have no use for them and have too many parts sitting around as it is. I think one of them doesn't have wheel studs on it.
Edit. Just saw you're doing a swap with themangeraad... nevermind unless ya really need em.

I just hope that 00/01 XJ tone rings match up with the WJ ABS pickups, I should have checked that when I was at the yard. Oops.
Yeah, unless the MJ breaks down in a serious sort of way, I'll be going. I'll keep my eye out, though I think the price quoted was $25 in the thread; Sam's charges $20 though the vehicles are all on the ground and have been forklifted so you have to check carefully to see if the shaft is dented/bent.Speaking of the JY. Ken, are you heading down to the M&G next wkend? I'm not sure if I will be making it, so if you are would you care to snag me a V8 ZJ front shaft if the prices are pretty good?
 that sucks. Luckily I found out here on the internets before I went to get my replacement shafts at the junkyard so I got the right ones.I'll bring them with me on Saturday either way. I learned the hard way they won't fit. :gee: Put it all together and boom my truck wouldn't move. I had completely forgot about it. I need to pull at least one 99.5 down while I'm there because one of the ones I tried replacing is shot.
