I just remembered I lost my knife today. So off to all things Jeep. $50 later I have a replacement knife (my old version isn't available anymore ) and a multitool on the way. That was the best $12 knife I ever bought. It's a sad day. Hopefully I find it in the tool bag tomorrow when I am cleaning everything out.

Yeah... My box cutter I used for everything is somewhere on the ground at sams. That thing was durable, it stood up to me for a year...going to be tough to find a replacement

I have a great all metal box cutter from a rocky's ace hardware. I leave it at work though. Should really take that one back and replace it with a cheap POS since I only use it to cut/remove warranty labels.

I thought about it and I don't mind losing the knife anymore... like I said, I only paid $12 for it. it held a good blade for almost 2 years of abuse and after sharpening it will never hold a blade as long... so I might as well just replace it. If the new replacement one I bought is as good as the old one was, I won't be bothered. If it's not as good I will keep an eye out for the old version in case it gets back in stock somewhere.

... And I just fixed a 92 xj with intermittent "everything dies at once" issues. The owner is confused, it seems he's been trying to figure this out for weeks, his positive battery terminal is fubar

I walked into Five Guys in Manchchester today, looked at the line and walked back out. That place was PACKED. I hope I can find one of their dead times, burgers looked so good!

Said it on the blade, not handle though. This is the one I had
I just ordered this and this to replace it though

I would have waited. Just do yourself a favor and if it's busy, don't get in line until you know what you want. I made that mistake... I didn't realize that I had many options of toppings/sauces. I took a while to order my first time in as I was overwhelmed with awesomeness

idk, half the time they are just sitting and/or standing around... What I cant imagine is playing baseball for a living and making millions of dollars for it.

I wish I knew this stuff was going on, I am local and still miss out.

Edit: This sucks, I really want to trim/install my new front clip tomorrow.... but part of me wants to hold off until I finish all other work on the XJ (i.e. wait until I get my rockers installed and unibody plated and swap springs or add spacers to compensate for weight) so I can cut it exactly how I want it

Scott, take the header panel and fenders off anyways. I think it would be easier with the fenders off

I will be cutting them with the fenders off, yes. I have the set I picked up yesterday off already. I am leaving the old ones on there until the new ones go on. I think I might even lose my lawn edging flares and relocate the stock ones on the new set. Never thought I would say that, I like my lawn edging. :laugh3:

Now I'm just debating whether or not I want to go to everetts today to look for a carpet and/or all the screws and stuff that I am sure I lost yesterday. I am thinking I will put it off until next wkend and let the lakes dry out a bit.

I thought everetts was closed on sundays?

I know it was rumored that hollands is open sundays, but they sure looked closed when I showed up on a sunday a while ago on my way through the area.
