Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

wth is wrong with people? It's not like you have to pay to get rid of oil, places take it for free >.< Glad you didn't get hurt/get in an accident.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

MIT Computers/Electronics/HAM radio swap meet this wkend... hmmmmm... I think I might have to stop by in the AM and check it out.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I might be selling stuff there. Not sure. I have a whole storage unit and apartment to clear out a bit before moving...

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I kinda wish it was on saturday afternoon, then I could go in for the swap meet and stay in town for the evening, or at least enjoy a few beers after, rather than having to work on monday.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Pretty sure you can get those cheaper at Lowes/HD, I might be wrong though.

Alright, need an opinion:
http://nh.craigslist.org/cto/1692764252.html

Worth $2200 (or $2600 since he lists both prices) you think? Temping since it has quite a bit of recent work esp since my main concern with buying a higher mileage XJ was the clutch... just doing a bit more shopping. I want to get out of the altima soon I think.

Edit: Changed the link to a more descriptive one..

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

im tired, i need a break.

-new tranny bolted to engine
-torque convertor bolted to flexplate
-crossmember and mounts bolted in
-speedo hooked up
-shift cable and tranny brackets in, shifter mounted and working just needs wiring extended for reverse lights, shifts through all gears and doesnt bind
-drivers side header back on and exhaust hooked up
-kickdown linkage mounted but not working, the cable is too short or need adapter for carb

things to do

-install driveshaft
-install PS header and hook up exhaust
-temp run tranny lines into buckets to pump out the old ATF and put some new Trick Shift in
-figure out what to do and how to route new lines

awesome. too bad it's got a slushbox. and too bad you didn't spend that time working on your jeep. i'm not saying you haven't spent time working on yours. but it'd be sweet if that same time was devoted to 1 vehicle. i have the same problem right now.
