THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i think ive almost conviced myself i wouldnt mind the 14.50 width of the toyos. with the narrowed 60 and some 10" wide rims w/ 4" BS i wouldnt be too wide :dunno:
That's a fawking wide ass tire. What width did you narrow your 60 to?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

chicken n waffles

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

64.625"

yeah its wide, but i did like the wide stance of the 1250 (measured closer to 1350 mounted) claws on a 10" wide rim

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

could you run a bit more backspacing to pull the tires in some? Right now I am running 33x12.50 on 3.75" tires stock axles. Figure if I go to 65" or so WMS (as I plan on doing) I can go to 4.5" backspacing and only gain 2-3" overall width with the same tires. Then going to a 14.5" wide tire would add at most 2" total width.

Personally I would be less concerned about the overall width of the vehicle and more be thinking about how the wide ass tire would effect the performance.

bingo, i dont care at all how wide i am overall but i dont see too much negative coming from that wide. plus, i guess the toyos are supposed to be a decent, long wearing tire on the street so i would get my streetability back compared to the other 37's ive been looking at.

ive decided to either buy or build one of these for my portaband. theres been a couple times already where i wish i had a metal bandsaw. the biggest reason for it now is to use it to cut the steering arms off the 60 knuckles.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I seen those, wouldn't buy one since it's so easy to make.

Yeah, that's what I figured. I am trying to keep my rig relatively narrow (i.e. at about 65" WMS) so I figured I would rant about overall width incase that was a selling point. I just wish I could find a good 1 ton axle that came stock at 65" WMS so I could be lazy and not narrow

Tempting... I want to pick something like that up and learn arc... On that note, I'm pissed. The other day I was talking about how I need to get a house with 220V run somewhere so I could pick up a 220V welder when I move out of the rents house (at which time I mentioned that the only reason I didn't buy a 220V in the first place is that we don't have 220V in the garage). My father then looked at me and said "well I have a generator that does 220V, coulda used that." Asshat... now he tells me. :)

you can usally find new/newer ones for not that much more money. that, or i have one in my cellar......
How much? :D

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Carmelo mounted and balanced some trailer tires today with amazing speed.

He was even sucking a HUGE dick while doing it.

Most skillful person I know.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

arc welding blows, the only reason i keep my tombstone around is if/when i wanna weld some nickle rod to center sections.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

If he doesn't then I do. :D I already sent an email. But if cmelo wants it then I will tell the guy I lost interest.

I wasn't sure if he was posting in a "anyone want it" type of way or a "can anyone get this for me" sense.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

If arc welding sucks so much, what the hell should I get to suppliment my shiddy 110V mig setup for thicker stuff? And I will say that a nice tig is too expensive.
