I don't mind building/fixing things either, but I don't want a complete ****box.

Also, I don't really want to live this far away from my job when the time comes (unless it was in NH) which means central MA. Most houses around here are expensive.



I hate the fact that I owe my parents money for my truck. Pisses me off everyday.

I don't understand how people can have $50k+ loans on random stuff or rack up credit cards to their limits.

Yeah, much the same here. I don't even have a credit card for a variety of reasons. I don't mind a long commute though I would prefer to not have one... fitchburg and southbridge are about the same commute time I believe even though they are somewhat different distance wise.

The things I want in a house - solid foundation (poured cement preferred but stone or brick works too...), full basement, sill plates that aren't rotten, decent neighborhood, decent amount of land, and a roof that'll keep most of the water out till the next summer. I fully intend to gut and rebuild anything I buy anyways (drywall is 6 bucks a sheet, and it's a lot easier to get a smooth wall by gutting and rebuilding than it is to patch messes, plus wiring is easy when you're looking at the studs) so I don't really care what the inside looks like. Shopping for materials at home depot I came up with an estimate (including a very healthy oh-shit margin) of about 15k in materials to rebuild an entire 1300sf house - floors, ceilings, electrical, plumbing, bathrooms, walls, and roof.

I'm bringing up an age old debate.

Debating getting a 5-spd with the new shell. Always wanted to try wheelin a 5-spd. If I don't like it, I can switch it out for one of the 3 AW4s I have.

In my honest opinion I know for certain you dont give a shit. You're going to look at comanches. If the body checks out half decent and you can work with what's currently there and there is nothing from prohibiting you from getting the pedal to reach to the floor you will buy it and be perfectly happy. You give a shit about stupid details as much as I do. If my honcho had a T18 in it when I bought it you bet your ass I would still be running that.

And in the mean time I will enjoy the ax-15 fights Seen them before. Maybe I will have to swap to an automatic soon since it will be easier on my D30 :eyes:
