thats one of the few reasons i cant wait for warmer weather. at some point in the spring ill finally put the new tranny/shifter in the nova and drive the piss outta it.

if blow up the engine in it this summer, i wont be one bit upset







......as long as the tranny is shiftin fine. a new/rebuilt engine is the easiest thing that the nova would need, i hate screwing around with everything else on it.

anyone else end up with crushed tranny lines from the upper control arm hitting it?

happened on every shortarmed jeep i have ever wheeled

Wat's in it for a motor?

Just a 350 sbc. it was a passed around motor so exact specs on internals is unknown but its got a cam and solid lifter, airgap intake, supposed to be big vavle heads (maybe even double humps), mallory ignition, and a new holley sitting on top


anyone else end up with crushed tranny lines from the upper control arm hitting it?

funny you would say that, cause that happened in the nova, but never any of my jeeps

I also predict a 85% chance of Anthony, Travis, Billy, etc saying you wouldnt have that problem with a 5spd

i can talk on my cell phone, eat a big mac, and put on my makeup while driving in stop and go traffic.

anyone know why thers mud in radiators, all my jeeps have it where you pull the cap off?
I always figured it was a mix of crap from the coolant and crap that rusted off the inside of the engine

not yet, maybe I'm just too gentle/careful. Good thing I was with the old lines, because they would have shattered into a pile of rust if I had looked at them funny. There was a thread in mod/oem tech about just this problem when I showed up though.

potential nor-easter on wednesday

i still need to put the 60 in mah jeepy
and i need a steerin shaft

and i need my natural gas tank refilled, and they are supposed to come wednesday or thursday, and they cant fill it if there is any snow on the ground because the dumbass that installed the tank decided to put it at the bottom of a steep hill

not yet, maybe I'm just too gentle/careful. Good thing I was with the old lines, because they would have shattered into a pile of rust if I had looked at them funny. There was a thread in mod/oem tech about just this problem when I showed up though.

this is why i like "controlled" oil/fluid leaks they put a fine sheet of rust preventative coating on everything. i blew a trannyline a couple weeks ago (ran over a rock that got between my crossmember and harmonic balancer, blew apart a line and it got in the fan and coated everything under my hood. my engine is so shiny now!
