anyone else end up with crushed tranny lines from the upper control arm hitting it?
happened on every shortarmed jeep i have ever wheeled
i can talk on my cell phone, eat a big mac, and put on my makeup while driving in stop and go traffic.
HA!
potential nor-easter on wednesday
I had a girl try to put make up once in the Jeep. I don't think I missed a pothole that entire drive.:laugh3:
Unfortunately, the Jeep is still on jackstands.....
yeah my jeep is all greasy AND all rusty on the bottom, it defies logic. I do like the factory-installed option "constant oil change" / "automatic undercoating applicator" on the MJ though, it works very nicely.this is why i like "controlled" oil/fluid leaks they put a fine sheet of rust preventative coating on everything. i blew a trannyline a couple weeks ago (ran over a rock that got between my crossmember and harmonic balancer, blew apart a line and it got in the fan and coated everything under my hood. my engine is so shiny now!
Gimme the heads pweese. I have to wake up this little 305 in the k1500.:rattle:
Doesnt matter, its a 305, nothin will ke it up. get a reman truck 350, the one in my old k2500 was frickin sweet. well, with the addition of 3" duals![]()
mark, were you guys installing new suspension components?
I know everyone says not to put a v8 in a trail Jeep
schniff... i miss that bugger:rattle:
dang, while you guys were at his place i should have had you grab the 5x5.5 rollers he has. is anyone going back there soon?
Colin - get the cabling worked out yet? If not, anytime between now and Lobsterfest (or hell, bring the parts there and I'll bring the tools) works.
I'm probably gonna buy a 25' roll of #2 welding cable and whatever else I need (a buttload of ring terminals and stuff, maybe other sizes of wire) and crimp some up. I've been itching for an excuse to make use of my new hydraulic crimper for a while now.
