EDIT: on the way back from the post office just now I heard the usual thunk-thunk-thunk noise on the right side of my frontend, I always figured it was my tire rubbing on my fender but now I've trimmed them... checked and there is like 1/8" of play in my right U-joint :shocked: I knew it needed doing but DAMN!

Guess I'm doing the U-joints for sure in this axle before I throw it in the MJ.

i apealed a ticket a while back, i got the paperwork in the mail. i just looked at the date. Well i took everything out of the envelope today and there was another paper with the hearing date:

$25 filing fee now required for a hearing on a civil motor vehicle infraction.

so now i have to take a day off from work and pay 25 dollars just for a hearing, if i lose the hearinghave to pay 60$ for a 35 dollar ticket.

Yeah, I didn't read that and showed up for my hearing expecting it to be free. thankfully I had $25 on me (I RARELY have cash). Then the cop didn't send in any of the paperwork so I got off clean. The 25$ was worth it in my case... it was a worthwhile gamble. If I won then it was only $25 out of my pocket. If I lost it was $25 plus $100 for the ticket, plus insurance surcharges... so in the long run the extra $25 wouldn't seem like all that much.

If you're ticket doesn't get you an insurance surcharge idk if I would fight it (unless you have a pretty good chance of winning). It pretty much becomes a double or nothing gamble, guess that's up to you :dunno: If there is an insurance surcharge for whatever the ticket is for I would def fight it.
