Travis - any idea if a right-hand mirror could be added to the pickle (or did it come with one?) My friend is blind in his right eye, so that's sorta important he says.

sure, it wouldn't be a problem. It's just a blank plate. pop it off, go to a JY and grab a mirror off an early 90's civic and it oughta go right on in it's place...

ahhhhhhh corporate antivirus app is destroying my computer right now, it locks so many files that all the apps I have open are crapping themselves
EDIT: I'm planning on showing up sometime around 5 or 6 tomorrow to help strip the jeep

I have to remember to pack tools into the car tonight. And after working late tonight my boss better not give me sh!t if I leave around 3:30 or 4 tomorrow. :laugh:
Ken, if you want to save your trans some miles I could probably swing through Worcester on my way up. Or (even better) you could just drive to the Marlborough area and leave your Jeep at a walmart or something and catch a ride the rest of the way up.

I gotta find a way to get a windshield home in one piece, otherwise I'd totally take you up on that - I suspect it'll go better with a carpet in the back (it's even a really soft, oil soaked carpet!)

The bumpers are longer than the windshield so length would be fine. and I will measure tonight but it should be plenty wide enough too. My back seat does fold down...
I could fit a windshield I bet... I fit both of my bumpers at the same time. I bet I could fit the windshield and flares no problem.

EDIT: Scott - the fewer times I have to move it vehicle to vehicle the better, I really think it's gonna get busted in a small car, I want to be able to put it between things vertically so the force is all in roughly the same plane as the glass. That's how they store it in glass installer vans, I figure they probably do it for a damn good reason.
I'll pick em up free man, just find a way to get cash to him for them and you're set. Oh... and remind me because there is no way I'm gonna remember once I get there.

haha OK that works.
I just spent two hours refactoring some of my code to deal with extra temp variables being passed into a macro... then had to port the macro and realized almost all of the extra temp variables I just added were either never used, or immediately overwritten, and thus useless. I hate people who get paid more than me and write much dumber code :banghead:
I still got paid to deal with their stupidity though so I guess it's not all bad :dunno:
