THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Ugh, I just want to head home... but I am stuck here at work untill 6 because I decided I am going to buy tires on my drive home today and I am meeting the guy in Taunton at 6:30.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I'm heading out in 2 hours to hit the post office.

Must write MOAR CODE

cmelo, thanks for the heads up on that, I'll print out the gearwrench page about it and bring it back to sears again, I'm really tired of the head on my 15mm being all floppy. Ratchets great though.

Also, the only vehicle I own is 4wd/solid axles... and the next one (if I get the MJ) will be within days or weeks of me getting it. After that, hopefully the next one will be either 6x6 or 10x10 (yeah, I know, dually tires don't really quite count) depending on whether it's an M35A2 or an A3 :D

Behold!

A rebuilt Turbo 400 and Dana 20 with twin sticks.

Just finished carrying this crap down from upstairs and decided to see if all fit together(it's a pretty rare combination). It's making me feel a little better. Only a handful of people have tried the combo I'm about to use with stock parts(Turbo 400 to Dana 18 in a dana 20 case).

You assholes with your pussy AW4s and chaindriven transfer cases can go suck a dick!

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I've never owned anything that wasn't 4x4 with solid axles f/r.

 red truck was the only thing ive owned with ifs. everything else is straight jeeps baby.

I want to tow stuff.

:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup: i want to tow next to you over hills and compare..........maybe even swap trucks for a test drive:D

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I'm pretty sure I would be hung drawn and quartered for this one... if I wasn't in a bachelor pad of my own:

I love being able to overhaul a transmission while drinking beer on my couch.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Colin...you better blow up your motor on the 13th ;)

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Hahaha yeah I'd get yelled at for doing something like that here. I rebuilt an axle in my backyard and my mom didn't even know(just threw a tarp over it before she got home everynight. She would have killed me if she had known I was doing it on her nice deck. Some of those parts I posted before I found under my bed. She's pissed I sleep in a room covered in car parts and tools.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

hahahah

yeah my back porch currently has two fenders, a header panel, four stock flares, two front fender liners, a d35 diff cover, a 5 gallon pail (covered) with 4" of gasoline and dissolved grease in the bottom, a stock spare, and a 32 inch spare sitting on it... oh and a d35 cover I picked up free in case the one on my friend's MJ rusts through like I expect it to.

Back hall has about 20 gallons of assorted vehicular fluids, a few spare front driveshafts, an np231, and a few cases of beer hanging out in it... aw4 is still in the living room. Then there is my room which is nearly impassable due to the large numbers of computer parts, tools, and car parts sitting around :eyes:

you could always come tow my jeep to the shop for me :dunno::D

I have got the OK to work on my Jeep stuff in the garage but the house is off limits. I have brought some small stuff into the house but all "clean" stuff. I can't wait to have my own place so I can work inside. I tried to convince the parents to let me bring my motorcycle into the basement so I could overhaul during the winter. That was shot down VERY fast.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i love having the container to work in. every once in a while i gotta clean it and reorganize the whole thing. i just let sh!t go everywhere and it turns into a mess

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Oh man, I just got an awesome idea. If I buy an M35 (and a house) I will be able to park the M35 parallel to the house and about 15 feet away, then string a tarp from the side of the house to the top of the M35 and hang it down at one end so I have a semi-covered Jeep work area.
