THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

That is why we mainly shoot .22's. A box of 500 costs about the same as a box of 50 9mm.

 Bought myself a 500 round brick of .22 this past weekend for $19. Just Blazer stuff, I think I could have gotten CCI for $23 or so, but only had a $20 on me :eye: What do you get for prices around you?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

About the same. I can't remember, my dad is usually the one buying the ammo, and I can't remember what it was the last time I was with him.

i win

i dunno how to embed but thats me shooting a barret model 99 in .50 BMG

it kicks less than my AR and is one of the most fun guns i have ever shot

it also destroyed an 8" thick slab of concrete
awesome. Wish I got to shoot something like that... I'd really like to try out a Barrett XM109 or an XM307 at some point, but I find that highly unlikely. They're 25mm caliber, and designed to take out vehicles at several thousand meters. The XM307 project got canceled though.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Bah. Now I want to go shooting

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

you people and all your official licenses and cool letter stuff and permits and junk for guns......

......i just go into walmart in wyoming and buy rifles and bullets and walk out.

one time my ex-gf came out and visited me, we were in a laundry mat and she got freaked out from cowboys just walking around with six shooters hanging out.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

damnit, i jsut realized i never went to airgas for some more sheilding gas for the mig. maybe i have just enough to weld the little bit where i pie cut and bent the truss.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Right in NH if you're I think 18 years old, you can purchase firearms no permit required. You can legally open carry, too. You need a permit to carry concealed(as early as age 18), however. In VT, no permit required to carry concealed.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Texas = :thumbup:

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

crazy how laws change from state to state. in CT they still have an asault rifle ban still in effect. but you can legally own a silencer for a handgun. also no 10# trigger pull shit./

Yeah, I wish I could find a decent tech job in either one :( And a house (fixer uppers are fine) on a decent amount of land for less than 75k.

In TX, if buy a bottle of whiskey or a case of beer you get a free gun.
Are you saying we... shouldn't mess with texas or something?

:anon:

get something in one of the border towns maybe? I guess it all depends on your commute, but it seems to me that you would be able to find something that works that borders MA and isn't a terrible commute. I mean, instead of going more toward western MA, just go a bit north instead :)

HAHA. AWESOME. :roflmao:

I wish you and I were the first people to think of that...

Sadly, we're not. Everyone else who hates mass but had to find a tech job there already bought houses in southern NH and pushed the prices WAY up! :looney:

EDIT: I just checked the approved firearms roster (http://www.mass.gov/Eeops/docs/chsb/firearms/approved_firearms_roster.pdf) and the gun I've liked most so far (Ruger KRH44R) is on it. I'm not too picky about what .22 I end up with, so I probably can settle for just finding a decently friendly town in mass... fitchburg is NOT, but if I pick this place up and fix it I should be approximately doubling its theoretical value within a year just by cleaning it up and repairing it, so that'll put me within range of buying an OK place in southern NH a few years after that I think.

i feel the need to get off my ass for a little bit and be somewhat almost productive.......weld, weld, weld, we...run out of gas.
