THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

just done with the machine shop for the day. time to finally head home. our shit actually works! it's amazing, the project is turning out super good.

and i'm hopefully going shooting on friday with the chick who was supposed to come wheeling on sunday. i guess her cell phone died overnight and was using it as an alarm, so she didn't get up in time to come wheel. so we're going shooting instead. and she's effin hot :D.

and also, you guys suck actually having LTC licenses. i took the class and shit, but there is NO way in hell the police chief in Boston would ever let me have a concealed carry, especially for "all lawful purposes"

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

That is the reason it beats out new years. On new years alot of people have parties or dont want to drive but the night before thanksgiving alot of relatives are in town and such so people go out knowing they'll be staying in all day tomorrow.

Not true necessarily... Boston takes forever to get LTC applications through the system but they aren't as bad as you might think. You might be restricted to target shooting and hunting, but as long as you have a clean record etc you don't generally get denied... northeastshooters.com has some great info on applying for your LTC in MA and has alot of threads with people talking about their experiences with applying in different towns etc.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

The usage restrictions thing is downright fricken ridiculous, why the hell does this commie state pull that kind of crap? I mean, seriously?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i looked into getttimg my MA LTC but there was too much beaurocratic bullcrap to deal with so i said screw it

i do have my RI however and i got that real easy

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I'm pretty sure this guy does not have an LTC and he just continues to kick ass

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Ken, I'm in the same boat as you, comp engineering job locations FTL..

I still loved living in VA... IIRC it was no license required. I could have gone into any store and bought any gun.

I found it amusing how much talk there was on the radio about the local shops selling out of AK's and such (as well as ammo and just about every other gun) just before Obama took office.. almost made me go out and get my VA state license (I kept my MA state license) to pick up a couple guns. I was going to do it come early this year... but then I lost my job as of new years day so it was pointless anyway.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

aperently i got a bad ujoint in the rear drive shaft of the blue jeep but im to lazy to change it so i just super greased it

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

good plan Rob...grease tightens tolerances. JB weld might've been a good option too. You woulda had to work fast though.

it will get changed, prob this weekend, prob a good thing as the driveshaft is a lil beat up too, dont need this thing running for much longer will be gettin a new dd in jan

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

d-shaft u joints are overrated, just drive it til you drop the shaft :gee:
Been there done that. Thank god it dropped the shaft right in front of Autozone :D My Jeep loves me (the time my battery decided to die and not turn the Jeep over was also across the street from an autozone, my brake line blew out just down teh road from a NAPA... along with every other issue I had.. left me right in front of an auto parts store :))

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i dropped mine in the middle of the night like 50-75 yards away from my driveway and was able to coast in with the d-shaft bouncing off the road.
