THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

X2. The trackbar length won't do it, its the loose ends in that trackbar that will.

while it hasnt happened to me, i have heard of it happening with too short a trackbar and control arms exclusively using bushings

with the stock bar the bushings bind and flex to their max load angle and there is much less resistance going back to a stockish angle. so if you hit a bump the wrong way it could result in a wobbly experience.

There is also the RE1660.
Lots. I'm not typing it all out. That UCA adj. bracket thingy they have is horrendous. Let alone a fixed upper to lower arm. I will say that I don't think cutting out their logo changed much of the strength of that web piece. Sure, it will be alittle weaker, but do some analysis of it and you'll see that the middle of that web isn't really taking all the force, it is the outer edges of the triangle piece that sees the load.

Ah, I figured there was something wrong with that but wasn't sure what... it looks like it could slip out of adjustment pretty easily.

Forgot completely about the RE1660 because I hadn't changed my plans to spend 2-300 on a track bar yet and it requires the HD bracket... looks stronger though, more in line with the JKS one, probably explains why it's around the same price :dunce: It says 4" and up only and I'm at 3-3.5" and probably will be lower once I build some bumpers, so I'll probably go for the JKS one.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Can anyone fulfill me on the "Sport" deal? I see it on EVERY FRIGGIN CAR
It is clearly the fastest of the different models of that car.:conceited

But really... it might be the case. The sport always seemed to be the 'stripped down' version, my XJ is a sport, no power door locks, no power windows, nothing.. my Altima is "S" aka sport, has power windows (and sunroof as an option) but all models had them. It has the base level stereo, cloth seats, etc. The lighter weight stuff.

So if weight = slow. The SE (special edition), SEL (Who knows), or LE (limited edition) which come with more options standard would technically weigh a bit more in most if not all cases. Making them slower and less 'sporty' :D

<end critical analysis>

My green '99 was a sport, and it had every option except fog lights. Throw a wood grain bezel, those fogs, and change my ECCO alloy wheels for the 16" rims, and you would have had a Limited.

The SE cherokees were the base, stripped down versions. They were so great, they just said "Cherokee" on the side of them.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I have a sport and I have power everything. No factory tow package (though I got an 8.25) and no factory fog lights. You see dodges with the same "sport" looking logo.
