THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i had the RE1600 for 3" and it was pretty good. if you tighten it once, tighten it right, it won't come loose. make sure you tighten the crap out of it though.

WJ's and wheeling hard should not be put in the same sentence

See, billys comment is why I am still tempted to try them.

The reviews seem good, and people who run them seem to like them. I was scared away at first based on that adjuster and a couple other things.. but then I read what everyone was saying and figured I wouldn't judge until either I had tried them myself or I knew someone who had.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

don't do it.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I said im tempted, not that I will...

...but that doesn't mean I wont waste some money for the sake of trying something out. There will always be someone who will buy it off me for 200$ off. :D

If your not happy with it, I'd buy it off ya.

More IRO flexy shots.
when i go long arms, thats what i plan to buy.
My buddy hasn't been easy on his, and his only problem was his track bar was off so his bump stop was rubbing on the carage bolts slowly wearing them away, but after adjusting the trackbar and putting some grade 8, no problems or alighment issues. I'm impressed.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Huzzah, now I got front tow hooks, full cast (60") high lift jack, and a couple hella 500's. All for $150 or so.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

It is clearly the fastest of the different models of that car.:conceited

But really... it might be the case. The sport always seemed to be the 'stripped down' version, my XJ is a sport, no power door locks, no power windows, nothing.. my Altima is "S" aka sport, has power windows (and sunroof as an option) but all models had them. It has the base level stereo, cloth seats, etc. The lighter weight stuff.

So if weight = slow. The SE (special edition), SEL (Who knows), or LE (limited edition) which come with more options standard would technically weigh a bit more in most if not all cases. Making them slower and less 'sporty' :D

<end critical analysis>
Dunno about that. My XJ is a Sport and came with OEM fogs, power locks, power windows, RKE, tilt wheel, cruise, cargo cover, fullsize spare, and rear defogger/wiper. I wish it had power mirrors, so I'm putting them on (97+ ones though, I like the old boxy style more but I like being able to see stuff with my mirrors too)

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

My comment on sport vehicles was just a guess, based on the fact that every 'sport' I have purchased are the base model of the vehicle. :dunno:

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Wow. I completely didn't expect that... just compared my spare TPSes and it looks like they changed the connector from year to year but nothing else. I'm glad one of mine came off a 96.

Automotive electronics

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

all speculation, i have not heard ofone failure. and plenty of WJ guys a know have run them hard for awhile

show me proof and i'll believe it. Just cause people say it online doesn't make it true
Not sure which part you were talking about, but either way I wasn't typing all that based on "what people say on the internet". :spin1: People defend locking D35s and needing 8" of lift for 31s all the time, they sure are not right!

Nice try Billy. :D

See here is the problem right here. People compare the IRO kit to whatever they had before, so almost always it is an "improvement". Was is the correct choice for the money? I'm opinion has been said.
Flex is overrated, knowing how and where to use the flex is 1000x more important.
i wish i had $400 to waste
ME TOO! ME TOO!

I was kinda bummed with my spare IAC from my '97 didn't fit Angel's '99.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Hmmm apparently lincoln mig liners can be had for $16 or so. I think I'll check out mine tomorrow to see if it's kinked. My welder is still acting weird.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

X3 on the 400 to waste... I have 400 to spend, but definitely not to waste. My mind is made up, I'm gonna go for the JKS one after I save up a bit more spare cash.

Let me know how that goes. My track arm obviously needs replacement. Being that I re drilled it and I think it sticks out more to the passenger side now. Ugh. I never welded before either so I dont know how I'm going to plug that hole lmao.

DONT MESS WITH TEXAS

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

yaay i finally got off my lazy ass and set up my wireless network and configured everything so that it works correctly and i can have my desktop connected at the same time. i then went the step further and figured out which dns address gives me the fastest network connection from my ISP :D

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

That's another thing I've been wondering Sam... I've been eyeing the IRO track bar wondering if the threads on it are the same as the threads on a johnny joint or heim I can get for 40 bucks elsewhere. I'm a cheap bastard like that :eyes: and it looks like the bar itself is made pretty well.
