THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Oh man I wish I had room to keep that m715 while I worked on it. I really gotta get a house soon, taht would be mine if I had my own place right now. Sigh, that was one of the trucks I wanted too. I was looking for a project MJ with a straight/solid body or an older Jeep (same condition). Not sure if I could get a title for that because of its age though... would have to check MA laws on that.

i'll bet you guys didn't know that loctite is much more specific than color. there is loctite specifically for ranges of thread fineness as well as intensity. i've never heard of loctite being heat resistant, but that doesn't mean they don't make one.

The red loctite 271 is a high strength that is supposed to only loosen up with heat.

There are also loctites depending on what material you are screwing into, because most loctites don't like plastic.

Loctite also makes adhesives.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i love that combo. did you see my post up a little bit?

lol yeah. i like eggs, actually made eggs bacon sausage hash browns toast etc etc for mia and I a couple mornings ago :) neither of us was working so it was great. I LOVE having a giant breakfast every once in awhile :)

I digress. I don't like hot sauce on eggs, but you mentioning eggs got me excited :D

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

yeah. jenn and i like to make a big breakfast when we're doing nothing on sunday's too...

loctite also makes anti-seize. and i have some. works good. and pipe sealant.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

as sweet as m715's are, i have 3 modified vehicles right now. 2 are reliable, one is not. couldn't justify a 4th project.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

the day after tomorrow is on tv right now. the british scientists running out of fuel for their generator made a joke about it running on scotch and they pulled out a bottle of the same stuff that i have.

George's Bank, the place where those scientists notice the problem with the first buoy, is off the cost of Cape Cod.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

c'mon travis, shackle brackets are cake to make. just plate and box the existing hanger and add on some tabs to move the mounting location forward. no need to spend money and buy fancy things.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

ok, I'll be at your place this weekend and you can tig away :D sound good??? I really could benefit from a better shackle angle. Mine's at like 90* :(

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread
