My buddy has been chit talking my Jeep and the 4.0's for almost a year now until I pulled a trailer full of wet snow home with him. Jeep had no problem. Then he hooked it up to his 4cyl taco and I think it started to cry. He hasn't said a word about the Jeep since so far.

just got done working on the tranny. if i had a gear puller i'd be done. you need a gear puller to get the 5th gear and its parts off. i am lacking one of those. everything else is off though (shift forks, shift rails, springs, guide pins, etc)... pics to follow

I just got home from beer and half price pizza at the bar. It was a wonderful surprise. I never win anything.. ever! haha.
I do have a use for them, just gotta figure out what I am doing and how they will work.
I wanted/planned for 1.5" more lift and planned on getting new shackles. apparently with 90 degree shackles these give 1.5" lift... but I would rather use the forward mount location for better shackle angles.. aka I gotta figure out how much lift I will get if I use the forward mounts and make u-bolt eliminators or get shackles to make up the difference.
Now I HAVE to proceed with lifting my Jeep more, I have no excuse. :laugh:

ken just took off.
got the blinkers working,and figured out the previous owner really loves duct tape.
especially on non-soldered connections.
