Sounds fine to me, though I would probably go for overkill and use 10awg just because. I may end up using two parallel runs of 14awg on mine though, because I have some mil-spec/aerospace wire in 14awg but nothing good in 12 or 10awg. Also, I'll probably be using a separate relay for each headlamp, and grounding the lamps and relays individually to the inner fenders right behind the headlights.

nevermind. i found this in my inbox.
I posted some stuff in lots a post but the tierod assembly in the back is the one that was on it and bent, but the drag link & tierod was good. The assembly I swapped on looked good but the tierod at the pitman end of the draglink was not. Therefore its loose, couldnt tighten, and forgot about(loose steering) plus possible box. Swap the draglink over and measure.

I roll out of here in approx 2.5 hours. I need to grab my tools back in worcester and test some stuff before going anywhere though, so figure I leave Hudson MA at around 1800.

I think that should be a rule. Anytime I've ever taken them out on a jeep that's mine I've replaced them. I'm actually picking up a couple in the next day or so, when I do I'll let you know the size.

Any torx or other bolt that I run into will be replaced. Granted when I dropped my trans I didn't swap those out because I was already VERY tight on time and couldn't afford the 45 min to get to a hardware store to get the bolts and back (plus half the time I was working on the XJ was after normal business hours so the nearby parts stores were closed and home depot is a 30 min drive).

Anyway, if I ever have to drop the tran again they will be replaced, but I already have the tool inverse torx bits so I am in no rush to replace those two up top. Not like it would be any easier to get to them w/ a hex, it would just be more convenient if I didn't already have the inverse torx set.

I need to find some way to drill out the torx bolts for my door hinges. I broke a couple and snapped a drill bit down inside one of them, so its being a PITA to get out. I suppose I will have to get my torch working one of these days.

Yeah so I pretty much just went snowboarding in my yard. And who knew that you're not allowed to take snow from the Salem Ice Center? Drove right past the cops that I think were looking for me with a trailer piled with snow.

X2. I slacked off like I got paid to in college and still did OK. As long as it's something you enjoy and learn outside of class who cares, work smarter not harder. If it isn't something you enjoy and learn outside of class, why are you looking to make a career out of it?

EDIT :roflmao: I emailed him and told him it wasn't a comanche door and that he'd have better luck if he figured out what it DID come off of, he replied with ~72 point red text on yellow background telling me what I should suck and what he did to my mother. I'm impressed.

got sidetracked and put the digital clock in the wifes mj.no more dead panel.
also tried to get her interiors working, but there is no power going to them.
im thinking its the headlight/dimmer/interior light knob, but i have yet to test it.
off to the shortbed to check the blinkers+driving lights and change a headlight
