Okay Ross, i've got a plan for you...come pick up my 14 bolt and then grab some 1/4" and some 3/8" and make me some shock mounts, some u-bolt eliminators, and a pinion guard. Oh, you can paint it black too.

Don't feel bad Colin about 2 years ago I bought a tig/plasma cutter when I was building bikes and just getting back into Jeep. I figured I could use it for both but stopped working on bikes and barely have time to build anything, so it sits in the workshop doing nothing. I wired the workshop for 220 and I even have some serious extension cords but I still have not attached the plug end to the machine. Every once in a while I wipe the dust off. I know, I know, it's a huge waste and no you can't have it.

well if he cant have it, how much do you want for it? Or are you holding out on that day when you snap and decide to decide to cut a car in half and weld it back together (just because you can)? :laugh3:

gotta pull a motor,put a beam in(xj)
track bar+more(mj)
heater switch(other xj)
replace misc bulbs(mj)
figure out why the rear pass taillight is not getting power(other mj)
check front brakes(other mj)

i think thats it.
damn chit adds up after a month of no days off.

If it can wait till evening, count me the hell in!

ugh, hollands put up the pics from the halloween all-you-can-carry, but there is no awesome 14b's be lugged out.

i have an idea... you know the stupid bolts at the top of the bellhousing that are inverted torx? when i change my tranny i'm going to get new bolts that match the bolt size and the grade. problem solved.

If you can use a sledgehammer and do more damage than the rock at Lobsterfest I leaned on, more power to you. The window still rolls up and down and the door opens closes fine :dunno:

well i'm reading that long service manual... they just used a screw driver, not a fancy snap ring pliers. i'll try that tonight.

do you remember what size threads they were? i don't want my house to stink up with gear lube real bad, so i'm going to try to get my tranny's rebuilt soonish.
