i miss college.
hi ho, hi ho, it's off to work i go...
Did you also tell the restaurant you were landscaping today :laugh2:i was supposed to landscape, but i told him i was working in the restaurant today.
I was brain storming on how to lower my VW on a budget (ie: free), and I came up with the idea of compressing a few of the coils and welding them together. That would lower it and not be cutting the springs so I don't know if it would destroy the ride quality that is already on par or worse then the Jeep. How many of you would kick me in the nuts for this?
lol, like a mom said dad said thing?Did you also tell the restaurant you were landscaping today :laugh2:

...wait, I have more free time now, why am I complaining? I still miss colllege, I would much rather be there doing 12-14 hour days than here doing 10 hour days.

springs are the same metallic content throughout. when you weld, you introduce a funky combination of heat treatment and dissimilar metals. and the weld is basically way stiffer than the surrounding spring and will crack.
