THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand it's quittin' time. Let's hear it for ten hour days!

EDIT: yeah, definitely relaxes me a little too. Tends to make people I solder stuff for (game console modchips, handheld radio repairs etc) a little worried but they can't argue with results.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I'm here for another 5.5 hrs!!

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Ross - yeah, name your beer (within reason, of course. I'm not buying a keg for 10 minutes of welding :D) I'd do it myself but I think my welding is even worse than carmelo's based on his post :gee: It'll be a while before I have everything set up, I gotta clean the rust off and cut the rest of the hardware off and whatnot but I definitely don't have a heavy enough welder or the skill to deal with the axle tubes and pumpkin.

I also need to put spring perches on, but I think I can deal with those myself, and I need to get my pinion angle and stuff figured out first anyways.

speaking of spring perches - Rob, I'm thinking of heading up sometime tomorrow night, would probably end up in Keene around 6:30-7, would that work for you?

that be fine, also do you need/want a steering stabilizer? pretty much brand new installed it on green jeep and pulled it off shortly after, its a oem one from quadretec if not ill post it in the for sale section

But yeah, unfortunately I need to be at work by 3 on Wednesday.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I cant wait for thanksgiving wkend. I wish I could get out of visiting family and just have a 4 day break to work on the Jeep... oh well, I guess 3 days will have to do.

So thinking about what needs to be done... anyone have a front and/or rear bumper w/ recovery points (rear preferably with receiver, front preferably winch ready, though I would take anything with solid recovery points) that they want to sell? The cheaper the better :laugh3: My chances here are slim... but I'm not ready to post a WTB thread in the classifieds yet.. not THAT ready to buy unless a deal comes my way. come on good luck!

Don't think I need one atm, thanks though!

Just got my new phone in the mail. Pulled the battery off my old one to get the SIM card and found that it was full of transmission fluid and brake cleaner, probably from Friday night when I dropped a mini lawn tractor transmission into a bucket of gunk I was cleaning it in and splashed the stuff all over myself. I have no idea how it was still working but I think I might have to replace its rear main seal or something :D
