Yeah it drives pretty well. Little wandery on the highway, but nothing to even come close to panicing about. I think the factory calls for no more than .080" of play.

I'm either going to:

A) buy a factory replacement MOOG

B) buy an upgraded aftermarket piece

C) upgrade to the third gen track bar

I haven't done much research on it yet, but I'm leaning towards spending the money now for the third gen bar. Puts the mount in double shear and I'll never have to worry about it again. It costs an arm and a leg though. I'm debating making my own setup, but the stock bar has a crazy bend in it to clear the D60 diff.

I was going to read this weekends worth of posts but when I got back one page and saw Mark was having lastara dreams... I quit.
Colin, time start building/modding the truck. At least a panhard anyway.

Hah, I'm debating building my own panhard setup as everything for these trucks have ridiculous markup.

Can't say I've seen or heard of that XJ before...sounds sweet though.

He's in Kill Bill as Hatori Hanzo the sword maker but probably only to pay homage to his extreme awesomeness that not even Tarentino could hope to mimick.

Other than that all of his movies are Japanese. Some of his movies did make it to the use but late 70s and 80s probably.

Hmm...we need to have this kung fu marathon.

On a side note, it looks like I will have to pull the shafts and carriers out of BOTH my diffs on the green Jeep this winter. :thumbup:

x2. I just talked to the IT dept for my company out in CA (I am a remote employee). They just asked if I could call them back from home in about 4 hours, so I have an excuse to leave early. Apparently the customer site I work at doesn't let IT remote desktop to my PC so I have to give them a call from home where I have my open connection.

I cant decide which I would do... I spent all wkend working on the Jeep and didn't have a chance to take the motorcycle out... so I may just have to skip the Jeep for the night and go for the bike... but then again if I don't make progress on the Jeep I may get the "you're not working on it so get it out of my garage" comment. Sigh

So I pulled the switch for the power door locks since that's what keeps blowing my ICU fuse and replaced the fuse. Now the locks just lock or unlock themselves over and over again. I can't tell what does it but even if the car is off and i'm not in it it does it. It's not even consistent either. It can go a minute without doing it or just rapidly fire of a bunch and keep doing that then take a break. How can I just completely take out power locks? I'm guessing there's a weird short or something is broken, neither of which I want to fix. I can live without power locks I just want my dome light back.

There's a black cylindrical thing near the gas pedal that is hot/warmish to the touch maybe unplug/cut/smash that thing?

^^^What I was very tempted to do this wkend when the rubber coating on the floor pans started burning a bit due to welding too close to it. So long story short, go for it! what could possibly go wrong?
